Well, I haven’t got much
Well, I haven’t got much to talk about this evening. The day was pretty uneventful. Life is like that sometimes and I don’t quarrel about it as sometimes the things that can make life ‘eventful’ can result in stress and ‘worries’ so, just go with the flow. I suppose the highlight of my day was that one of my pateints, who really is amongst my favourites, brought me a bottle of Appleton VX Rum. I was truly grateful for it, though I told him he didn’t have to. We get along more like good friends, so when he comes to the clinic we usually get the medical stuff out of the way quickly and then the rest of the time is like a social lime. I’m sure my “bredren” Mad Bull will be most happy to help me imbibe a few. Otherwise, I did my exercises and had dinner, now I need to go ‘hole a fresh’ (shower) and do some work on my presentation for next week. So, hasta la vista.
April 23rd, 2002 at 10:20 pm Dr. D., sometimes as you say it’s good just to go with the flow……everyday can’t be the same - life would be just boring and mundane!! Sometimes excitement is good and another time we yearn for peace and tranquility; in this world with all that’s happening around us - take it while you can get it! Continue with your exercises and at least you’ll be able to get peace physically and mentally. Just wait for those wondeful endorphins to kick in!! Well, take care of yourself and God bless. Marc Antony says to tell you that he hopes all is well with you and to keep up your good work at the hospital(s) and all around! Believe me Dr. D you are the bomb doc! Keep on moving! Look forward to see what’s coming tomorrow. Rest up and sleep well.
April 23rd, 2002 at 10:39 pm Hi Doc. I am on a programme to lose weight also. If I don’t lose weight, then it will be curtains for my back. The Betnovate lotion is working on the spot on my forehead. How was Ruthie when you visited? Have to do a little surgery on my wrist tomorrow. All this info is for you to guess who I am. Call me after 11:00 am tomorrow. I will be home after 11:00 - my guestimate for the time I will get home after the surgery. I will try to think up some good ideas for your website. you need graphics. I will be setting up a website soon for my virtual office.
April 23rd, 2002 at 10:54 pm Hi there Guess who, I know who you are. T’was nice of you to be the first “stranger” to visit me. glad to hear that the spot on your face is improving. The weight loss can only do us good, just don’t go overboard with the dieting and exercise, remember life is all about moderation. Yes, I know I need graphics, I’m thinking along the lines of photographs of scenery that I have been taking, I will have to summon my technical advisor MB. But as I mentioned, things are still in the conception stage, so not quite ready to ‘deliver’ yet. Talk to you soon. By the way, Rufie was fine when I saw her.
April 24th, 2002 at 7:58 am Wait, someone else visiting already? Promising Dr. D. Re the graphics, as soon as I determine that you plan to keep this up, we can do a site redesign and get you all “purtied up”.
April 24th, 2002 at 8:00 am Wow, Rufie is using big words now… endorphins. Marc is having a good effect on her, isn’t he?
