Strange referrals
Well, I’m going through another period where I don’t have any great post to make. I have spent time reading the newspaper, reading other people’s blogs, but still, nothing inspiring. I don’t really like to take stuff from other peoples sites anyway, I prefer to have a certain amount of originality. That’s just me, I don’t necessarily like to ‘follow the crowd’ so to speak. Well, I decided to look at some of the strange Google and Yahoo search referrals to this site.
Photos of females passing shits, Female kicking doctor balls, Middle aged erection photos, Falling in love with a doctor, The doctor took off my pants, Undress I need to feel your belly and check your bottom.
These are a few of the ones that I selected. It seems to me that people are searching the net to find the most bizarre stuff. I guess that we have a lot of people out there with pretty weird ideas and what a better place to satisfy these strange minds than the internet. It really is loaded with every possible deviation that could cross your imagination. I’m sure I’m not providing you with information that you don’t already have.
I think that the point I’m trying to make is that sex, whether real or virtual, sells, and is more than readily available, by punching away at your keyboard. Now, please don’t get me wrong, I’m not necessarily knocking this, as I am by no means a prude myself (though I don’t think my mind is warped either). But just a question, where do some of these people making these strange searches get their kicks? I guess it takes all kinds to make the world up eh?
Perhaps, I should ask another question. It probably has been addressed many times before, but nevertheless, how do you feel about sex being available on the internet? Most of these sites require a declaration that you eare 18 years or over, but that doesn’t stop an 11 year old boy or girl from accessing this stuff, does it? I guess it’s something that those of you raising children will have to curtail. On one hand, your kids should be computer literate, but on the other, you don’t need to expose them to all the gory details of sexual devaition too early in their childhood.
I think that as the world becomes more cosmopolitan, kids are being exposed to this type of information at a much earlier age, the movies, MTV (which is basically simulated sex in my opinipon) and cable are all full of it. I suppose it boils down to being good responsible parents, and though I have no children yet, that doesn’t make me exempt either. Anyway, enough about this. Any comments?
July 29th, 2002 at 11:38 pm Searches are strange beasts… The more you know about them (and positioning and weighting the results), the more odd you’ll find them. I hope you realize that by putting such words in your post, you’ve actually increased your chances (and positioning) for being placed as a result in the next search for those words. Also, I think that some of the searches like that are from young kids looking for something goofy. Don’t you remember looking up words like “shit” in the dictionary and giggling that it was actually *there*…??? Which prompted a search for the next “bad word”…
July 30th, 2002 at 12:02 am Yup, theres a lot of sex available on the net. How do I feel about it? I don’t know, I need to do more research on the matter
July 30th, 2002 at 8:07 am The internet is a true example of how mankind can develop a truly useful tool and then turn it into the devil’s joke. It reminds us too that evil is real, and sexual perverts expressing their desires over the net, is a trap to expose us through our curiosity. Our children - although I have none, exhibits curiosity as a strength in learning, but inadvertently, it also becomes a weakness when freaks of the highest order seek to assault their young minds. The point is that, as adults we can chose, but children don’t know the difference. Like you said doc, every conscious parent ought to take precaution quite early on, in order to protect their children.
July 30th, 2002 at 11:19 am Children under 18 will always find some way to see the smut. I think its a deep rooted human nature for people of all ages to look. Before the internet kids found those kind of magazines, before the restrictions of cable, kids watched playboy channel type of shows. Although as parents and responsible adults we want to shelter them from such pictures. Kids will always find a way.
July 30th, 2002 at 7:20 pm when i was a kid i’d sneak into my parents room and dig through their stuff for playboys and ‘everything you always wanted to know about sex’. had i had the internet? would have hacked the net-nanny and explored that way. there’s some way out sicko freako stuff that i had no idea existed, before i started getting porn spam. of course the freaks flock to the internet, there aren’t very many of them and it helps them to have the whole wide world of possibilities to find other like minded sickos. eh — there will always be porn. parents are the only thing between their kids and porn, not nanny software or blocking or censorship. how many people would grow up to be sickos if their parents had discussed sex with them openly and honestly, with the attitude that it’s healthy and good, and you have to be careful, etc? what if all kids got good information from open minded sources? hmm. long comment, guess i got carried away.
