Not much to talk about.
It has been one of those days at work, routine, referrals, clinic, just the usual. Oh, I forgot, today was payday, I guess that was the highlight of the day at work.
All in all, I really do not have a topic to labrish (chat) about tonight and I am not in the mood to go looking for a site to link you to anyway, if I were to find someone’s writings interesting. That is just not my style.
Those of you who read here often enough, will be aware that I have my time when I get philosophical about life and think. I have found this happening more frequently as I get more mature (note, I did not say older, mature may be more politically correct, we live in a very touchy world nowadays). So, I am going to leave you with a bit of writing that was sent to me on e-mail today from a friend. It makes for good thinking. I usually am not into forwarded messages, but I think that this one is better than average.
It is called, “I wish you enough.”
I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough “Hellos” to get you through the final “Goodbye.”
I wish you enough my friends. Have a good one.
September 25th, 2002 at 8:56 pm Yes, that one is interesting. But I want you to wish me MY definition of enough, not yours or anyone elses.
September 25th, 2002 at 9:04 pm I never said it was anyone elses definition of enough. So, whatever works for you dude!!!
September 25th, 2002 at 10:10 pm I much prefer the word “mature” to “older” too… And I like when you get philosophical. You have some very interesting ideas.
September 26th, 2002 at 5:56 pm That’s one of my favorite “thoughtful” pieces. Timely for me, too.
