Wet!

If you want one word to describe the Sunday here in Jamaica, wet sums it up. There has been absolutely not a ray of sunshine. One would have thought that the gods were having a party and imbibing gallons of Red Stripe as it has been literally pissing with rain. I ventured out on the road for a short trip earlier, and there were not many cars out at all. I guess everyone is inside their homes trying to stay dry as this is really not weather for venturing out unless one really has to.

The newspapers were filled with lots of political stories today, I won’t bother to bore you all with them, you have probably all heard too much about our upcoming election and corrupt politicians in recent times, both at this site as well as at Mad Bull.

Having nothing else to really write about just now, I will end by saying to my countrymen, stay dry and find some sort of indoor activity to keep you occupied….let me not make any suggestions as to what that activity may be either………

Wet is good, and for the record I’m not talking “sky” issues…….but concidering I’m married to a pervert, and I myself at times can be one *innocent southern belle smile*, when I read a title “wet” I’m drawn to it….. I’m glad you are safe but had to put a twist of humor on the situation not to minimize the situation you are in… Great Blog by the way… Jamie aka Jet

Glad that you are safe. The news here makes it look like most of Jamaica is underwater. Keep dry.

Yes Jamie, agree with your position re getting ‘wet’. Thanks for your comment and feel free to ‘come’ again. wKen, it is Monday morning and it is literally coming down in gallons. I am part of essential services, I am not at all thrilled about going out to work in this weather. And, yes, the media always focusses on the most serious in any situation like this. However, despite the fact that I have been able to stay dry, there is flooding taking place elsewhere and I can only begin to think about damage to our roads and the homes of the less fortunate. Pray that it stops falling soon. I don’t think we can take much more water!
