My how times passes quickly!

Hey guys, can you believe that I actually forgot the address of this blog! True! I had to ask my good friend Natty while on line; but not surprisingly, she didn’t have it either and kindly forwarded me to check out Mad Bull’s site, but before I did so, I looked through some of my old paper work and there it was! Eureka! So here am I again in an effort to say something worthwhile, fufilling, as well as, entertaining.

It’s clearly obvious and most self evident that I am not the only one with nothing much to share, as I don’t see many comments and/or posts from Natty and Seven, so I am quite the norm with nothing to share! ) I know the day will come when the pages will be filled with lots and lots of stories to share - maybe I’ll be the one to fill them…who knows? That wouldn’t be too bad, I’ve got a few stories to tell (well, some of them aren’t worth repeating, but others…..) But not today, today I am going to talk of other things that have been on my mind and more much recent visits and get togethers! Don’t you just love get togethers and reacquaintances with old friends…I sure do love them!

As I stated before, I hadn’t been on the site for a while, so all of you expressed sorrow over my loss last year, I thank you for all your kind words and yes Dr D, I am able to talk about it and move on - you’re such a sweet and caring brother! What would I do without you and where would I be? Thank God for you!

Looking back over the last few months, it was good to have seen Dr D, Midas and Seven, as well as, Dr(s) Spanish, ie. Dr Spanish and his wife who is also a doctor! Getting together was such fun - makes you realise how much life changes and how time flies without you even knowing when and where it goes!
I wish I could’ve seen Mad Bull, Natty and Mad Bull Jr, who I haven’t seen since he was a small infant - I am sure he won’t know me, probably only as Dr D’s sister, but I know he will love me even more when he finds out that Susie Q and Friendly are MY dogs, yes that’s right Dr D - MINE!!! I may not be there in body, but I am in spirit! ) Anyway, let me begin my story of thoughts I’ve had lately. Please see below.

Since the passing of my mother (Dr D’s mother too as he’s my bro!) I’ve learned to accept many things, whether willingly or not. Also, I tell who I love that I love them constantly, I wear new apparel and not save it for a special day! Every day is a special day now - because you just never know when you’ll be gone from our wonderful Mother Earth. I say this, as when my mother died, there were so many brand new clothes, shoes, perfumes etc she was never to able to wear; hence I learned my lesson. I am one of those people that don’t take advice easily (like my bro’) but the time comes in your life when you just have to adapt; especially when ‘these things’ happen directly to you. Don’t think that I am sad, today is a good day and I am thinking many thoughts and am just writing about a few of them.

Well, I got a new job with an emphasis on payroll, tax and accouting - seems so strange as my career was always in general insurance, again this just goes to show you how life changes and time passes you by! What can I tell you? It’s a new Year and with that comes new challenges, so embrace it, welcome it and look forward to the rest of your life ) Until another time, I leave you with those thoughts to ponder! Hope it wasn’t too boring, that truly wasn’t my intention.

Whats this? My Word! A post!!! From Rufie! She lives! Oh, I’m so happy!!! ‘Twasn’t boring at all Rufie, and I agree with your sentiments. Live for today. Many people set themselves goals, and that is good, but don’t forget to live today even while striving for those goals. Thats how I feel (even if I don’t always manage to live up to it

HI RUFIEEEE It was wonderful to read a post from you after this site had been dormant for so long. Let us hope you will keep the volcano active as the other authors of this site (who will remain nameless) have gone into permanent silence it seems. Anyway, to each his own.Reading the post was almost like speaking to you, I was grinning away as I could just see your facial expressions and imagined that we were face to face. Yes, indeed little sis, life is full of changes good, bad and indefferent. However, people on a whole tend to resist change in many ways, especially if we find ourselves in a postiton of relative comfort. Anyway, you make your plans and live them out. As you know, I am pretty big on planning and the like.Regards your finding employment in the good ole USA, I am filled with nothing but glee for you. I suppose good things do come to those who wait.Regards the seeing of the dogs and MB, Natty and MBJr. we have to see what can be done about that this year. As you say, time flies and we are all getting older (or more mature is perhaps a better choice of words.). Love you much my dear and big up to Marc Antony. I notice he has deserted the blog again, but is alright! We wait with bated breath to hear more from you. Actually, if I do a post today, I may link you in it so that you can get some more visitors! Much love.

Hello Rufie, Sent here by your brother … Hey, you are so right in the living for today - Great post! It is unfortunate that it sometimes takes anothers misfortune for us to see that that is the way to live, but thankfully you are doing so and spreading the word to others to not wait to enjoy themselves.

Another individual who skipped over to read your blog from your brother’s site. Great site and wonderful words of wisdom. It seems in our fast past world of today we either forget, ignore or just plain don’t care to acknowledge to live for today and express to the one’s we love how much on a daily basis. This is a great site and a Big Texas size congradulations on your job!!! And I read mention of “furry beast *aka dogs*” do tell us more ~ I have four of them and love them dearly. Hope to be able to read more from your blog!!
