PM “Backs” Omar….
Yes, that is the caption for this morning’s Gleaner headline . Well, in case you don’t know what Omar’s predicament was, I posted about it and so did my bredren Mad Bull. (Yes, after many years of close association with me, he has developed a sense of right and wrong! 
Jus cool rude bwoy! A nuh nutten!)
So, after public outcry for Omar to resign despite making an apology (which came after people made some noise about his arrogance), PJ has come out supporting him. In fact, the Gleaner says that he ‘backs’ him.
Now I’m going to bad. In this country, we have an expression for ‘jerking off’ or masturbation. It is called ‘backing you fist’. I wonder if this is the kinda of situation that applies here? PJ, Omar…careful. Onoo know how the rumors go already.
Don’t just play around with public funds, it belongs to us the people, it is not YOUR money to do as you please with it! Awoah. PJ backs Omar indeed!
February 18th, 2003 at 4:20 pm My yout’, previously I’ve been saying that this is something that anyone would do, given that its an election year, but they published some figures in the Gleaner today which point to a DOUBLING of the supplementary budget. Not 5%, 10% or even 20% more, but 100% more!
I also read that a large part of this 15 billion dollars is an amount for salary increases (8 Billion)! Not money for flood damages as the Minister said earlier! I fear that I made an error earlier. Only Omar could do something like this!
I want to add my voice to the growing mass of people demanding his head! Omar, RESIGN NOW!!!
February 18th, 2003 at 7:12 pm Well, I wonder how much of the increase in the budget is going towards the salary increases for the Parliamentarians themselves??? Surely it is not the 3 and 4 % increases that they have offered us or the Teachers that is accounting for this, is it???????
