A Doctor’s visit…

I’m in a hurry, actually eating breakfast (at 10:00AM) while typing this. I have not had much time for the site recently due to a combination of tiredness from work as well as preparations for a talk on Eczema I will be giving in Portland tomorrow morning. I conquered the tiredness last night by turning in at 10:30 PM and I did not wake till 8:45 AM this morning! Can’t say when last that happened.

My slides are ready and I am proud to say that I copied part of the talk from my hard drive to a CD using Roxie CD Creator all by myself last night! Yeah, I know it is no big deal to you techies, but for non-geek me, it is an achievement.

So, I’m off to Frenchman’s Cove shortly. I want to get there in time to have some sun and fun while viewing scenery on the beach. So you will not hear from me before tomorrow night. The worst that can happen is I have a few photos to post. So till then, adios. I have to move quickly.

BTW, my bredren Mad Bull has an interesting little story that he posted last night, give it a read if you haven’t already done so. He speaks pretty well in ‘parables’. Lata.

You know that parables always have a higher meaning… Whats the higher meaning there, pray tell?

Dr.D, I have also been off-line somewhat since the trip to Miami. It was great to see you after so many years and to catch up on some ole talk. You haven’t changed much since the good old med school days either. Give my regards to Portland.

Mad Bull, let’s just say that those of us who know the ‘higher meaning’ here do, and those that don’t….well, they just don’t. I like how you told the story though. Hope sixty five is firing on all cylinders.

bajedoc, it was great linking you after so many years. Hopefully we can do it again soon. I will e-mail the photos to you soon. Portland was great as usual. Beautiful scenery at Frenchman’s Cove, some thonged (need I say more), fantastic Jerk Pork and the talk went well. I shall return!
