Here is the Yellow Poui.

Well, I don’t like to make promises that I can’t keep, so here is one of the best Yellow Pouis I have seen in my travels around town. I took this picture on the way to work and actually sat in the car just staring at the yellow flowers for a few minutes. It is a pity that they don’t bloom all year round. Then again, if that were the case we would get so accustomed to seeing them that I probably would not be posting this photo. Please enjoy it.

I also have an upadate on our ‘missing’ nurse from the land of Castro! Apparently she called our Ward today and spoke to the same nurse who had told me of her ‘missing’ status. She informed her that she was fine and since ‘disappearing’ had married a Jamaican man! Also, she was calling from one of the all inclusive hotels in one of the resort towns that our country boasts. She has landed a job as the Nurse for this resort. Good for her. I wish her all the best and if I make it to this resort anytime soon, I will certainly drop in to say hello. Perhaps I can ‘fall’ ill to ensure that I see her.

That’s about it from me tonight. Have a good one, whatever you do.

What beauty! As I just said a moment ago in chat, I miss Jamaica. I miss the vibrant colors, the warm people, the VX…

Interesting.. She sure landed on her feet. There we were, all worried for her and everything and homegirl went and got married and got a better job to boot!

It may well be a ‘business’ marriage Mad Bull. But, I still hope it works out for her. Some people are forced into extremes in order to try to make a better life for themselves.

Wicked picture Doc!! And its good to see not just a beautiful Poui in full bloom on your blog, but a beautiful twist to the whereabouts of the ‘disappearing’ nurse. I guess she has found her slice of paradise.

Nice picture… good to hear the good news on the nurse. (guess you best be moving a bit quicker on the dating scene when the next lady hits your sites that you wish to get to know better!)

Wow, what a TREE! My favorites, though not colorful, are the live oaks down south. Sure wish we could grow them here in Ohio…*sniffle*.
