Old jokes from home
Hi everyone, yes I am finally here, but with that said, remember that nothing happens before the time.
I am going to tell some family jokes that I recall ok….A Saturday afternoon, many years ago, one of my maternal aunts came to visit us at home, now this aunt is very, very well endowed in the chest area and at times seems to be struggling to be steady due to the chest ‘weight.’ For this story, I will call her auntie c! She was so happy to see the family that she was hugging and kissing on everyone, she is quite happy and very friendly. Her happiness seemed to have extended quite a bit that as she hugged my father with so much force as to put pressure on her brassiere that the bra strap busted and with quite a brute force - very loudly!!!! Now my father is not really known for too much discretion, so he said aloud, ‘aunt c, I thought it was a gun shot man, I almost had to get my gun to return the fire.’ Needless to say that everyone else was embarrased, but not aunt c - that’s nothing to her - trust me!!!
I am thinking of some more jokes and will soon put them in the blog ok….bear with me. Let’s see the response that this one brings shall we?
April 26th, 2003 at 5:46 pm LOL… well Auntie C had good strong character I see to not be embarassed by that event! I can picture the embarassed looks and laughter of the family as your dad spoke!
April 27th, 2003 at 3:25 pm Oh Rufie, I am remembering that day with such fondness! I am sure Natty will enjoy this one. Yes, as some of our friends say, you’re the funniest person on da planet mon! LMAO. Please try and remember some more. And BTW, Aunt C has not changed at all. Remember the day she told Uncle K, her hubby…”K…F.O. and I will tell you more if necessary!” (he was making fun of her and she was by no means amused.) Yes indeedy, don’t mess with Aunt C. Now that Mummy is gone, I find I have grown to love her even more, don’t you think?
April 27th, 2003 at 11:29 pm Hmmm… I can’t picture who that aunt is, but you’re right, your Dad has this way with words! What he said sounds so much in character.
April 27th, 2003 at 11:37 pm You know my famous comment is ….”WHO IS SAYING POP?!” But anyway rufie, you always have me in stitches.

April 28th, 2003 at 11:39 am That is too funny!!!! Your dad sounds like a quick witted man like my daddy ~ sounds just like something he’d say. My mama on the other hand would be horrified!!! Thanks for sharing I look forward to reading more~
April 29th, 2003 at 8:18 am Let me just speak for Rufie…she is away from home for training for a couple of weeks, so again it may be a while before we get another post, but, she will be happy to see the ommentary.
April 29th, 2003 at 9:01 am Nice joke Rufie! Sorry that I am always the last guy at the party, but I have gotten rather old and slow. I wonder though if anybody actually dived for cover when they heard the sound? Keep up the blogging.
