It is Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes bredrens…..that magical day of the week when I live for the end of the clinic this afternoon. This one is even better as I’m going on leave this evening. I haven’t taken one single day since the start of this year, so indeed, the workhorse is tired.
I will spend the first few days here. And if I can work up a crew, Lime Cay sounds like an option this weekend…..I haven’t been there since the start of the year that I can remember, so my appetite for viewing shapely young ladies in sparse clothing while sipping some of my favourite brew and enjoying the smell of the salty surf and some fried fish is very high.
Yesterday, my colleagues who will be left to carry on the grind while I’m away, were saying they were going to tell Admin. to inform me this afternoon, that I can’t go again. My reply to them was….”Onoo lucky nuh rass….me naw deh yah!” (”You are all lucky….I won’t be here!”)
So, as I prepare for my last day at the hospital for a while and blog about it while eating half an apple, some grapes and whole wheat bread with salmon flavoured cream cheese, let me raise my glass of orange juice and say, Thank God it is rass Friday!!! To all those of you who have to wake up before the sun begins to even peep out on Monday, all I can say is, when I stumble out of bed late to get my morning cuppa tea, I will think of you all……suckers!!!
Have a good weekend dudes and dudettes! This doc. will be on official leave in a matter of hours.
