Cats or Dogs? Dogs!
I saw somewhere that cats are the most popular pet in America! Can you believe it? I can’t. Dogs are so freakin’ great! I bet that the major reason behind that statistic is that people have less space to work with and are choosing pets based on their size now…
Anyway, if you’re like me and consider the dog to be a far superior animal than the cat, check this link out. It’ll leave you with warm, fuzzy feelings and a desire to bring home a puppy!

August 29th, 2003 at 11:19 am What a cute puppy! Yeah, dogs are pretty great in alot of ways, but cats are pretty good, too. They just don’t have that selfless, loyal quality that dogs do. I heard it said once that is because dogs think you are family. Cats, however, think you are staff! Seriously, though. The trend nowadays in the US at least, is to treat dogs like they are kids. They’ve got dog playdates, dog gyms, dog counselors, blah blah blah. I don’t buy into all that, but I do believe you need a yard and lots of time to devote to a dog for him to be happy. So, I have a cat instead. They’re just easier for busy, single people. Too bad, though, huh?
August 29th, 2003 at 9:37 pm We prefer dogs. We had two cats when KL# 1 & 2 were tiny children. They got spayed and went psycho!!! The one hid in the basement for over a month when my sister came to visit, and when she left, one or both of them decided to use KL# 1’s bed as a litter box. Needless to say they did not stay with us for too long after that. I did find them good homes though. Our dog is huge, but a good boy. All he gets up to is shedding hair (immense amounts) and annoying Popsy no end by digging up the grass. Popsy has an undying love for his grass
