Recuperation - for the birds!!

Well, Free paper bun now fa true!!!

Tomorrow is the official day I return to work since my operation on September 25th. One would think that recuperation is a simple thing. You stay home…..preferrably in bed….(with someone to wait on you hand and foot!!). You take thing easy when you are able to move around….you have time to read…..to put all those pictures in the album (that you have been wanting to do for what seems like years.)…..You catch up on friendships over the phone/internet/ or the many friends who come to visit you.

Strangely enough, after about the first week, I experienced none of these things. Life quickly returned to normal for me…. except that normal seemed even more rushed and hurried. I have started a new job…actually two new jobs at home. I finally found my medical transcription job and also I got offerred a job, where I have been trained (not at my expense) to be a therapist for a child with Autism.

The medical transcription job is going well….Man, dem cardiologists use some big word dem!!!! But things are going fairly smoothly with that at last. As to the child with Autism, whom I will call Jay. He is the sweetest little guy. He’s six years old and rather affectionate ( not common for autistic children). He’s very smart and catches on quickly. So overall, things are pretty good.

But BUSY, BUSY, BUSY…..It seems to be busier than when I was going out to work.

But I am happy to be finally back home for my kidlets and still doing stimulating things for me!!!!

Cheers everyone!
Ciya

Ohh, great stuff! But let me ask, will you be staying home or will you be going out to work? or is it both?

Great to hear you are back on your feet and feeling well. Sounds like you wont have time to scratch your head though.

Hi guys, Yes I will be doing both, but I only go out for 2 -2 1/2 hrs per day. And it is just across the main street of my town!!! The typing I do at home. It is very busy, but I am working on simplifying it.
