Saturday nite….

Arubashore.jpg

Well, it is about 8:45 PM now according to the clock on the wall above my system. Here I am chilling out, and right now I feel pretty much like just enjoying the comforts of home. Perhaps with the recent travelling and having returned to work this week, I need to just relax at home.

See, I have posted yet another shot of Aruba, this one of the coastline with waves breaking and making a white ocean spray. It was quite windy there and it took a great deal of effort to steady the camera to take the shot.

You may have surmised by now that I haven’t got much of my own thoughts to share tonight. Another reason why I may feel like taking it easy is because I will be attending the funeral of the son of my previous boss tomorrow afternoon. You may remember that I had mentioned that his life was ended recently in Iraq. Very unfortunate.

Not having much to chat about I went and did a little surfing. I see that one of our female athletes, Deon Hemmings, who won the gold medal in the 400 metre hurdles in the 1996 Olympic Games, is calling it quits apparently on account of injury. I find no fault when people who have done well in their time step down with grace. I say to Deon, you did well and made our country proud. If you have to step down because of injury, then so be it. Your excellence will not be forgotten.

Last but not least….I’m sure you have heard of road rage and perhaps have been a victim of or even dished it out from time to time. (I can say that there have been times when the fassyhole that ‘bad drives’ me has had a barrage of our claats meted out to him! Nothing else really results in the same effect.) Then there came air rage. And naturally, as the computer age has impinged on our lives, there has come ‘Spam rage’. Apparently, a man who got pissed off by the barrage of penis enlargement e-mail that he was being sent let loose Spam rage on the senders of the messages. Read the little story here. I guess if he has a short dick he prefers to stay with it! I wonder how prevalent this sort of thing will become though?

Anyway, have a good Saturday night, even if it is spent just relaxing at home and sipping some of your favourite brew. Later.

sheeeiiiittt I jus saw the pis where you were with that lady from Aruba..and they said there were no hills there , I know she was “lifted” but what a nice lift . Hey did you know there was a second runner-up to Ms. Jamaica World who appeared on Court TV? I figured u’d be interested as her hubby was a doctor and she and her boyfriend hired two men to kill him, they got caught..the boyfriend’s on the run btw her name was Denise Johnson, I think. “”House Call” - The Dr. Louis Davidson Case The murder of a well respected surgeon in an upscale waterfront apartment community left police in St. Petersburg, Florida baffled. Cell phone mapping, wiretapping and a host of other forensic evidence would uncover a twisted conspiracy, and bring the doctor’s killers to justice. “

Dupps…nice to hear from a friendly ghost like you bredren. Now, I agree that some ‘front end lifting’ did tek place ( and maybe not only in her case a rass!)….but blood cleat rude bwoy….me naw complain still! Regarding the case with that murder…I will be pretty tight lipped. Let’s say I have never heard the name of the woman involved before, but the case is by no means strange to me. That’s about all I will say. It has aired on ‘America’s Most Wanted’ for years now. I did not know the doctor either. The world well small rasta! Nice to see you haunting again.

Cho Doc! What’re you afraid of? Me nuh fraid! Mi naw go be ‘tight lipped’! What the goodly Doc. didn’t tell you is that the wife’s boyfriend is well known to him. He used to live in Orange Grove with us. Of course, we don’t know where he is now. Docter D. didn’t know the Doctor who was killed, but some of my sisters knew him well. Apparently he was a cool youth. The wife, I didn’t know her, but her sister and brother used to go to a lot of sessions we went to in the late 80’s and 90’s. The wife’s sister was pretty good looking, with a butt that used to ’shock out!’, BTW. Yeah, the world is small.
