Jamdown sunset….

Jamdownsunset.jpg

I saw this on the way home driving over Jack’s Hill to escape traffic and I just had to stop the car and capture it. I think it is a nice way to wind down the week of work. Don’t you? Please enjoy it and have a good weekend. (I’m off to a cocktail thingy at 7:30 PM, not really my type of affair but let’s hope it is OK.)

Wow, that is breathtaking. Is that a storm in the distance, too?
  2. Dr. D. Says:
No storm Amy, just some clouds.

Really awesome! I lived in Red Hills for a few years. This picture brings back wonderful memories for me.

…no ‘cocktail thingy’ is anyone’s kind of affair :^)…people just go for the cocktails, ignore the thingy and end up hammered…but the people throwing the event could hardly say “we invite you to a party where we will mix many unpalattable drinks together to produce something that will get you pissed so fast you won’t mind the taste”…or could they :^)…

billy, the ‘cocktail thingy’ was so aptly described by you. All sorts of tiny ’stuck up’ types of foods (pick size portions)……smoked marlin on a wee piece of bread, some olive and cheese bread. The wine and liquor flowed in abundance luckily. I got all gassed up, had to have some leftover curried chicken when I got home. Ciya, I would love to see some pics of Canadian sunrises or sunsets. Get snapping…. and hope it doesn’t get too frigid this winter. Mi foot dem feel likkle sore as I spent most of today helping MB, MBJr and Natts to move. I’ve told them to come over later to eat some food and share some spirit! (BTW, me naw cook tonight….take out Chiney food will haffi do.)

Beautiful pic! Our sunsets are particularly colorful because of all the air pollution.
