Tower Of Babel

We have been having wet weather for the last few days, seems there is some front or suppem in the area. This morning was no different….grey with rain. I didn’t mind as I lazily got up at about eight this morning to make some tea and get a hold of the novel I have been reading called, “The Runnings” by a Jamaican author……D. Wong Ken. It is a thriller about a Jamaican lawyer. The author captures many aspects of Jamaican life very well. The lawyer certainly is a gyallist……my yute got involved in some bed sessions that would mek any man jealous! In addition, the aspects of corruption in the Jamaican political system are brought out well in the story. I give it a thumbs up…if they made a movie of it, I’m sure it would be a success. Respec due to Mad Bull for recommending it. (My yute get suppem right fe once….jus cool rude bwoy!) Since getting out of bed, I’ve basically been glued to the story. Finished it while having some red peas soup for lunch….that was good too. But, as is normal with red peas….dem mekking nuff noise now!

Anyway, the rains seem to have checked now, making for a cool evening….sounds like good weather fe go hold a walk. Other than than, nutten much a gwaan still. Tek it easy.
