Back a yard…..

Well bredrens and sistrens, I returned to the rock today. I am feeling a bit tired as I got up at 4AM Jamaica time this morn to catch the early departure from Ft. Lauderdale. It was an uneventful flight. Flying in to Kingston gave a beautiful view of the Cockpit Country. The rolling hills and small valleys dressed in the emerald green foliage made me smile to myself as I saw the beauty of my country in the early morning sunshine. Always a pleasant sight.

As I did not have much access to te internet while I was away, I must admit that I missed the blog interaction quite a bit, but a holiday from all that is routine is good for the soul and helps us to apprecaite the things we take for granted on a day to day basis even more. Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t take your visting and reading of my scribbles here for granted at all, it is a pleasure to seea comment from all of you. Am I boring you????

I guess not , or you wouldn’t had bothered to click the link to read more, would you?

Yesterday, I went to the Fishing Hall of fame and Museum which is about a 25 minute drive on the I-95 from where I was staying. I enjoyed it and there were some lovely saltwater aquariums on display….my appetite has again been stimulated….remember the picture of that fish I had posted a few weeks ago?

I have been keeping freshwater fish since I was a boy and have always maintained an interest in the hobby of fishkeeping. No trip to foreign for me is complete without a trip to one of the big petshops in the US to browse in the aquarium section. So, a saltwater aquarium is now on my list of wants (and that list is not very long). The colours of saltwater fish are just stunning. Anyway, before I’m accused of rambling too much, I heard on the radio today that Andem was charged for 10 offenses today! At least three of the crimes are murders. I won’t suggest a suitable punishment….Let’s just say that I think he is evil and we are better off not having him around. On that note, I’m signing off ’till on de morrows as my eyes are closing down on me. Have a good weekend.

Welcome back! I’ve never been a fan of fish, pets or food! When I was a little kid my mom had a boss who kept a huge salt water tank in his house. I was always enthralled with all the different fish, and he even kept small types of sharks in there. Now that is a great way to entrain a kid!

I am glad that you had a great holiday D. and that you are happy to be home. Co-incidentially, we saw a “Woody Woodpecker” woodpecker here the other day too. It was the first time I had seen one of those. I have however, seen many of the common brown coloured ones, but not the red beaked, black ones. He was pretty.
