Tower Of Babel

Awrite, it is a bright and quite hot Saturday morning (I waan go beach next week) and I don’t have too much time to spend wich y’all right now, as being the Doc on call to my service this weekend, I haffi pass chru the hospital and see our patients.

I did reach Sanjay’s last nite, but I did not drink like usual. I had all of three VX and dem did kinda weak….I gave the bartender instructions to make them that way. Nice lime as usual. One thing about that place is that the people who go there are pretty close knit, everybody know everybody…is almost like family. A guy I met there last nite likens it to the bar in that comedy that used to be on TV called ‘Cheers.’ Remember that show? ….’You wanna go where everybody knows your name.’ When you think about it, the vibes at a bar really are much like that. Though it is good to meet new people, I personally find it a bit of a waste of time to go to a very large watering hole that is chock fulla stranger to have some juice. It is a lot nicer to link a crew at a smaller place where you know the people….nuh true? You chat ’bout anything… business, life, politics, sports, cyar, the phatness weh you meet inna de week…. and help others to destress, simi? So, though I’m on call this weekend, I feel pretty relaxed after the linkage last nite, and as long as everyting at the hospital copasetic, then me kriss.

Came across couple linkable items dis morn. First off, is who get Vice Pres Cheney so pissed off earlier dis week? De man nuh lick a man wid the effin four letter word iyah! I suppose we all get caught up in the claws of stress from time to time. Drink two VX sah, or down a chill pill. Life short.

Now, if you read here enuff, you will have realized that my testosterone level is no lower than the average Jamdown male. Yes, me chat plenty slackness sometime….but there really is no harm or offense intended. Jus easy yuself. Now, despite the slackness that you may have read, enjoyed, or even got annoyed about here, as bad as I can be at times, there is a time and place for everything. If you ask me, this Judge who seems to like taking all matters arising in his courthouse in hand is way outta line and should be given a guilty verdict! Do dem tings at you yard iyah!
