Spolied or what?

Again, I don’t have a lot to share. My readers claim that when I say this, I usually come up with a lengthy post. Doubt that a go happen this time.

I just have a question for the techies that lurk inna dem corners, I think they know who they are so I won’t bother to name them. Why is it that sometimes computers seemingly act in a manner that is likely to just piss off a man rass? Sort of like a spoiled child that is asking for some well placed slaps!? You click on a link, and nutten happens. Like it deh pon siesta or suppem. Cho bloodcleat! smily

Anyway, it look like it stop wid the spoil pickney business now, so mek me stop cuss and go hold a fresh for the work. Dat a de lick fe now. Sorry, nada mucho a gwaan. smily

well to put simply. a computer is like a [couldn’t think of anything] some times you just need to restart it and it doesn’t get better with age. you have to first stop, realise that something is wrong, then try to figure out when the last time it was actually working. It’s usually something you did that caused to stop working.

I’m with Melissa…..I think our computers have a mind of their own…and some of them have been taken over. I fully expect to hear mine say “The DEVIL made me do it!” one day. We have a wonderful Dell computer, but this one came with XP, and I think it’s touchier than some of the earlier programs. 95 and Win2k were a lot more stable, it seems.

Well, Buffy, maybe Win2K is more stable, but certainly not Win95! I can’t remember when last I saw a b.s.o.d. (blue screen of death)

Computers DEFINITELY don’t get better with age. Next week we’re getting a new system that will render this Win 95 computer and the programs it runs… obsolete (this thing has been a major pain in the ass for almost 2 years). Me and the tech guy are taking the computer out back and smashing it with baseball bats. You’re invited.

don’t feel bad Dr D ~ my computer is VERY tempermental ~ I always know when someone else has been messing on my puter as she is very bitchy!!!! I have a scheduled defrag to run every night and when when it acts up I reboot and run an extra defrag just in case ~
