Thanks…
Well, I feel much more relaxed tonight than I was last night. Problem not necessarily solved as yet, but at least it seems I am getting the help that I require, if all parties who have promised to help, deliver. Keeping all my appendages crossed.
Now, as much as it may be pretty rough on the work scene from time to time, we really should not allow a bad day to affect how we interact with others while we are on the job. Sure, that may be easier said than done, but it is much nicer to flex with people in a way that will make even the most miserable #%** (insert your favourite(s)
) at least try to be pleasant.
I have a patient that I treated in a decent manner (like I do all of the patients I see…..well, most) and I was pleasantly surprised. Today she came bearing a gift. A bottle of cologne…quite nice and one that I’ve never heard of before. I wonder how she came to know that I have a collection of men’s fragrances? Hmm. Anyhow, she is not one to lurk around the blog scene, but I just wish to say many thanks to her again. You really did not have to. (Why isn’t it that patients don’t come bearing nice presents every day?
). That’s all I have to share tonight. Did anyone give you an unexpected gift at work today. Well, if so, whatever it was, I hope you remembered your manners and said thank you. Sleep good.
