A Doctor’s visit…
The picture is of a view of Kingston post Ivan from up at my cousin’s house in Stony Hill. I guess despite being blown a bit roughly, Kingston still stands.
Yeah, you know how they say that the visits of a medical practitioner are usually short lived….well, this is going to be one of those. I caan stay too long with you as much as I would like to. I have to pull out of port earlier than usual as I’m transporting my yute Mad Bull to the airport. I really doh envy him returning to no water and electricity!
Dat shyte is damn annoying, and when you have to endure it too long it mek you miserable nuh rass. Anyway, let us hope you soon get water inna you pipe dem sah. I guess then the light will follow.
The Bull also did some computer fix up business here on my system. You see, in the last two weeks, my computer apparently was selected (unknown to me) as the headquarters for pop up porn ads….literally consuming my screen every five minutes once I was on line! 
Now, ask me why that would happen to MY computer? 
Anyway, rude bwoy Bull downloaded a programme, and so far so good. No pop up ads with penetration…or spread eagle shots of women. Respec bredrin! 
That’s about it for now. Let me go rustle up some breakfast and hit the bathroom. Oh, how could I forget, the food last night at the send off dinner for my colleague was irie. I gorged myself!

September 29th, 2004 at 9:36 am Have a good day at work today D. Pop-ups and the porn crap are sure annoying. I had those 3-4 times already this year and finally spent the money and got Norton and Adware buster. It was worth it too as i make my living on my computer.

While you are languishing in decadent gratuities such as good food and pop-up porn (now don’t play games with me, I know you were less annoyed than you pretend), your best friend is forced to carry on without even the barest necessities of life (i.e. water and power)? What say you to that?
September 30th, 2004 at 2:37 pm Doc, The Firefox browser has a built-in pop-up ad blocker. I also use Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and destroy weekly to see for Spyware on my system. All that combined with Norton Anti-Virus and weekly cookie deletions have kept my systems clean and running like a top for years.

September 30th, 2004 at 9:09 pm I know that I have Adaware, and the kids may have put Spybot on too. Those, along with Norton seem to have kept me pop-up free. The darned things are incredibly aggravating! I can just see my ancient mother walking into the office and seeing something like that pop up! And don’t you just love the pop-up ad for the pop-up blocker???
