Scared shyteless!
Well, I woke up feeling good and at a reasonable hour, as I planning to reach work early before going out to Sp. Twn. to de the likkle talk…all haffi dress up inna tie to rahtid fe look like me is really somebody pickney!
Anyway, me buck up on this Observer headline and it vex me nuh rahtid! I can understand the witness being scared to shyte! But, I jus hope that Andem will get his due justice. Yeah, y’all may be saying that I convicting him before him being allowed a fair trial. Jamaicans For Justice may not suppoert me either. But, sometimes when the cockroaches and scorpions that infesting our land get exterminated on the streets, it may be just a matter of the Lord teaching dem a lesson. Eye for eye, tooth for tooth. If you live by the gun, then so shall you eventually die. The insects need to be eradictaed…big time. Anyone know a good exterminator?
Sorry to start your weekend off with such a callous sounding post, but is what greet me today. Hope your weekend is all you want it to be. Wish me luck and safety in my little excursion to St. Jago de la Vega (nuh so Spanish Town did name?…Sorry….history was not mi fav. subject in school!) I gone now.
January 28th, 2005 at 8:18 am Good morning Dr. D. Safe, safe travels into Spanish Town. Hope you have a good lecture. Buoy Dr. D. just read the article in the Observer. Man, we need to eradicate this type of element out of our society…..YEAH -tell me something I don’t know you say. Totally agree with you-an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. Does Jamaica have capital punishment? That’s what the sentence in this case should be.
January 28th, 2005 at 10:59 am Doc, as old-time DJ used to say, “Have a safe travel, when yu toe dem touch de gravel!” (BTW, Sunshine, ah hear that JA’s currently deliberatin’ ’bout capital punishment (hanging).
January 28th, 2005 at 11:07 am I remembered you this morning on my way to work cause the cd hit a tune ‘dem a bleach dem a bleach out dem skin dem a bleach to look like a browning’ hope the lecture goes well man As for Andem I fully agree with you. Its the lack of retribution and punishment that has all the bad boys doing so much stupidness. All these amnesty international an dem sorta groups dont realize for some criminals juss aint no teaching them right you have to punish them an punish them severely as a deterrant to the wannabees.
January 28th, 2005 at 11:31 am …you have a good (and safe) weekend yourself there dr.d :^)…
January 28th, 2005 at 6:59 pm Talk went well and I never buck up on no unpleasantness out dere either. Me all get a pen as a gift fe me effort. Dem scored well wid dat….I love nice pens and have a large and ever growing collection. JDid, I know dat song well…figet who sing it doah. Before I started the actual talk, I was doing a bit of a preamble and asked how many there were bleaching, or knew someone themselves who was bleaching. There were ’bout 150-200 school boys there. I was in shock when almost 50% of the hands went up!
January 28th, 2005 at 8:50 pm Dr. D, if is not the stress up at UC which is set to kill us off, is the gunman. *sigh* I read the post on the feisty diabetic .. next time call me, I will tell her bout she bum*o. p.s. Check this out: http://blog.fyrfli.net/index.php?p=240
January 28th, 2005 at 11:01 pm Glad to know you had a safe trip to Spanish Town. Regarding that Observer article, perhaps a swift and complete overall of our “shit stem” of justice is absolutely necessary for it to become a system that really works. Justice is definitely pooping on people in this country. Furthermore, as the saying goes, “justice delayed is justice denied,” and perhaps that’s one reason why some people take the law into their own hands. On the other hand, if we didn’t have a culture of fear and so many men without balls in JA - both in high and low places, then maybe we could begin to send a message to the criminals that their crimes won’t go unpunished. As long as there is a sense that the police are idiots or corrupt and unwilling to do their job, then most people will not stand up as witnesses in any murder trial in Jamaica. BTW…do you suppose if everyone was to be allowed to carry a gun that the criminals would think twice about attacking law abiding citizens in JA?
January 29th, 2005 at 8:58 am Glad your trip worked out well, Doc. Kreuger, if more people had guns the criminals would think twice, but it wouldn’t stop them completely. Look how the criminal gangs shoot up dem one anodda! They all know the other gangs have guns but they go out there and shoot up the place anyway.
January 29th, 2005 at 9:00 am btw, Doc, maybe you should post the picture that you showed the yutes dem on your blog. You said it was a slide, nuh? Just project it on a screen and shoot the screen with your digicam, Iyah!
