Almost 3 years old….
….no, I am not referring to the age of the yute me have hiding inna country with him mother!
Actually, it just dawned on me that come April 30, this blog will be having its Third Birthday! In a way, I guess it is sort of an achievement…..you see, when I got started on this thing (I was coerced by Mad Bull based on the comments I used to leave at his site) the Bull thought that it would have been perhaps a transient thing for me. He didn’t think I would keep it up. Hence the “testblog” in the web address. So, I guess the testblog has stood the test of time. Now, I put it to you who come here to read my fart regularly, that the session in honour of the third year is on all a ONOO! Yeah man, y’allz going to provide the liquor,
, the food, the sexy body gyals, etc etc etc. Thank you all in advance. At least you have a few days to get the details all planned out and to select appropriate gifts that will be appreciated by I an I! (I’da like hold a RSX still….)
Those who are having a difficult time selecting a gift, fear not, I do accept cash (preferably in a hard currency….that spells Sterling or Euros in today’s world….not US!) So, we here in blogland have a session to look forward to, and you’re all invited to mek an appearance.
Clearly, you can all see that I’m feeling rather idle at the moment…either that, or me head a tek me! But hey, it is nice to fantasize sometimes, nuh true?
Actually, I just got some nice news from Rufie, my sister. You see, she and her hubby Marc Antony are expecting. Seems like the Ultrasound she had today (she is 31 weeks) shows that I shall be the Uncle of a lovely little girl. Something to look forward to. Actually, I would have preferred that she didn’t tell me the sex, but anyway. It sort of spoils the surprise. Which brings me to a question to get you all interactive. How many of you who have had or are planning to have children want to be told the sex of the child as shown on an ultrasound before birth? Do, you prefer to wait until the delivery to get the surprise? Speaking of which, I know a couple who recently had their first child. They were told it was a girl that they were having. Well, when delivery day came they did get a surprise…..the girl had a penis and a pair of balls!
They were just as happy, but it goes to show that the ultrasounds are not always foolproof in predicting the child’s gender. Anyway, time to stop typing foolishness. I going go hold a fresh, watch some TV and go bed. Easy.
April 26th, 2005 at 12:42 am I don’t mind knowing up front, that way if its not a boy, you have plenty of time to arrange a good, mutually beneficial swap.
April 26th, 2005 at 6:39 am hey wait a minute girls aint supposed to have penis and balls lol actually had that discussion about knowing or not knowing with the wife last week. It doesnt really matter to me one way or another I think.
