Winding down…
Yeah, yeah, it is Thursday night at about a few minutes to nine and I have found myself here at de yard. Private practice wasn’t too bad in terms of numbers tonight….A slight improvement, as my tallies have been low inna de last few weeks. Recently, most of mi colleagues that I have checked, have been seeing lulls in numbers of patients as well. Blame it on a tough economy, blame it on high gas prices and skyrocketing utility bills, back-to-school…whatever de ra$$ it is, money nuh deh bout in abundance. So, tonight I saw seven patients, that’s a far cry better than last week Thursday’s three.
Anyhow, left office at ’bout seven loking forward to reaching home in reasonable time. (Sometimes I doh reach een till all 8:30 PM on Thursday, if tings busy at de office.) Who tell me dat I going reach home inna good time??? One bad wud accounts for that… TRAFFIC nuh whats it not claat! I tell you, me nuh know where cyar come from inna Kingston so. Anyway, after tekking detour etc, I mek it home.
Eat dinner, hold a fresh and decided to type a little post that really has no point here. Jus feel like start wind down in preparation for the weekend. So, man going a bed early tonight. Looking forward to the usual Friday lime after work on de morrows. Browsed a bit and came across a little article that I going link you to. I think I waan get me some of these beer coasters for my bar out on the patio….wah you seh?
I kinda like the idea. Wonder if they work for VX glasses also?

Me nuh brave like you doc - I fraida injection needle. Gas here in Cayman is over US$5 per gallon. There are some wide disparities in price from island to island to large countries despite that everyone is seeing increases. There should be some way of the caribbean islands combining their orders or something so that the suppliers could give a volume discount. I know that some governments are subsidising the price to mitigate the rise in oil costs - but I think the gas station owners in Cayman are driving around Escalades and Hummers. In Cayman I believe the base price (not necessarily the recent increases) is inflated by the overheads associated with all of these “On the Run” and Star Mart everywhere you look. These days they are just about across from one another. People still wasting gas like anything though. Have a great weekend in Jam Rock. I have met your friend the one Mad Bull..
