Middle of da week!

Bwoy, I can’t believe how quickly time flies nowadays. Today is the final day of November, which means that Christmas will soon be here. Not that I mind the season at all….but it jus a come too rass quick fe me. It is also the middle of the week, which means in another two days it will be TGIF time again. A Portland trip is planned for Sunday, so that is suppem to look forward to. Nuff Jerk Pork, lika and good clean air to inhale.

In addition, today marks the official end of the wretched (I can think of far more colourful words to describe it) hurricane season for 2005. Hooray for that. Too much o dat shyte……hopefully next year won’t be so bad…though the predictions not looking good……anyway….until that time comes….

I stole the picture above from the Gleaner today. It is a satellite image of Caribbean weather. Sweet to rahtid. We have been having some beautiful blue skies and nice cool nights and mornings. I scarcely have to use the AC while driving now!smily I love the weather here at this time of the year….nice breezes…which we refer to as ‘Christmas breeze’.

What else a gwaan? Well, last nite a bredrin passed by. As you might have surmised, my crew is always welcome here at de yard. Since it was jus two of us at the bar on my patio, we decided to try out a little ‘Q’ of D’Aguiar’s Xtra Mature Rum which someone gave to me on the weekend. Blurdcleat! smily What brew wikid! Both of us had to comment that it lick VX for a six! Well mellow, it is from Guyana…so anyone going on a trip there who wishes to bring me back a gift….you done know! It went down well with coconut water. Needless to say, it was just a Q, and with two man a drink…we each got two drinks from it, and unfortunately, all I have sitting on the bar counter now is the empty bokkle. Cho, we enjoyed it, and it was a good way to end a pretty hectic day at work yesterday.

Anyhow, me a ramble. Really don’t have much to share. I gone. Full up de comment box still…wah you check seh you come here fe do!? smily Cool vibes.
