What’s bin hapnin?
Well, I going tell you what’s bin hapnin, but to be fair…you need to put some comment inna de box….zeen? Remember when you was a yute and you used to play…’show me yours and I will show you mine?’
Well, is same way we a rest here.
Weekend overall was irie. Plenty linkages with me peeps….lots of liquid spirit as well as vibes flowed. Yesterday I decided to take a run down the road and visit the Pet Shop. I was getting pissed off seeing the water circulating in the tank without any fish swimming. So, I now have me a pair of tinfoil barbs, a large pair of Red Cap Orandas, some small angels, some rainbows and four Pearl Gouramis. A few plants added to the tank made it look more homey and everybody seems cool with the new crib. And, nobody is fighting wid dem one anodda….everybody jus a live and let live. Would be nice if we all could do the same in the world eh? I am suddenly reminded of one of my favourite songs by Luciano……”Imagine, living in a world…where there is no war…….Oh what a wonderful world it would be…….” etc. Irie tune dat. Played dat while I had a first VX and coconut water on Friday nite and after dat the vibes just flowed. So irie was the mood, that I decided to adorn the top of the bar counter with Christmas lights. It look sweet. See, I have whole heap of lights to play with ’cause the palms on the sidewalk that I usually light up died a few months ago! Cho. Anyway. Will see wah me can come up with.
Yeah, so the tank is looking better. Give it a few more days and the water should become crystal clear.
I also decided to prips the Potters show at the Forestry Department yesterday. Well, I decided to live a little and splurge some funds. Bought miself a clay wall hanging and a clay vase….potter is a dread named Michael Layne. The latter is a Xmas gift for a sistren. There were some pretty nice bits of art availabe there…..but the pocket wasn’t that strong!
On a bloggage note, Sunshine hath arrived. Called me yesterday as she landed. A dinner/drink link is planned for Wednesday. I will let y’all know how it turns out and if she gives posting rights, pics will follow.
Got to try purchase a few more presents in this week, list not very long still. Cause I not going plaza fe shop late…hate the crowd. Anyway, another week at work is upon us, but this one too shall pass quickly and before we know it, it will be time to say TGIF again. You all have a happy and productive one.
BTW, sake of Angry Dawg I discovered that Richard Pryor passed away. That rude bwoy used to mek me laugh nuff. Hope he does RIP.

I had a busy weekend happening, but ah goona post a pic or two ah de activities.
December 12th, 2005 at 12:53 pm Dr.D, I hope that’s a big tank, the full biological cycle won’t be complete for about 8 weeks, and them 2 Orandas are going to foul up the water a bit, Make sure you change out part [15-20%] of the water every few days during that time, to keep the amonia levels down…
December 12th, 2005 at 2:55 pm Trouble, its a four footer….. Holds about 40-45 gallons. Yes, I know them Orandas tend to crap a lot. Maybe tomorrow evening I will change some of the H2O. Apart form the two tinfoils, the others not quite sizeable yet. I rather like to buy them fairly small and watch them grow…also, when you buy them reasonably small dem cyaan frig a man with the big price.
December 13th, 2005 at 12:10 am Oh yeah, poor Pryor, used to love his stand-up as a youngster. Sorry to see him go. Eddie Murphy, Chris Tucker, Chris Rock, etc all patterned their comedy styles off of Pryor.
December 13th, 2005 at 6:46 am Pryor was irie. He made me laugh a lot during my teens. Respect to him, may he rest in peace as you said. So, you succumbed. Boring fresh water fish is all you have now.
