A quick check in…

Yes, I am again guilty of no recent post…a combination of not really feeling to post as well as being busy…or ‘otherwise occupied’ if you like.

Tuesday evening I had my eyes tested. Long and short of it, is that my right eye is deteriorating more quickly than my left….ask me why? smily Whatever it is, it basically means a new pair of glasses which I am to collect this evening. As you may or may not know…once you pass the magical age of forty…de spare parts dem start to rust…..I wonder what other parts naw work so good…..hmmm…. Time to have a yute maybe? Naah man, tings in dat department kriss. Trus me. Any of the lasses in doubt can come test! smily

Scanned the Gleaner for the first time today just now. Came across a headline that basically says if you drive a diesel powered engine, low quailty fuel locally may actually be screwing up your ride! That is effries….when you consider that next to owning a home, vehicles are what for most average folks take up a pretty big chunk of income. There you go, saving some funds by buying a cyar that uses cheaper fuel, only to learn that the cheaper fuel may well be bad for the machine….may end up mekking you worse off financially inna de long run to rahitd! smily I nuh know…….

Last but not least, I am to link Ri, of Revolution Island tomorrow nite for a few spirited beverages. He is passing chru Jamrock for the weekend. Any of you others who wish to come along are free to do so. That’s it for now. ‘Till next time……

    March 4th, 2006 at 5:39 am Bwoy, Dr.D my eye dem a go too! The difference is my left eye is worse than the right. I hate wearing glasses I’m considering conacts, but I’m scared of putting those things in my eyes. I’m also considering laser treatment, but fraid a dat too!!! It seems my eyes are getting worse too, so I need to visit the eye people again and get a new glasses. Poor me, why do my eyes have to be bad!!!
