Gyptian’s CD Stinks!

Bwoy, based on the songs that he put out recently, I rated Gyptian, after all, “Serious Times” was a wicked, wicked song to ra$$. Yes Rasta, I was expecting big things… Coupla days ago, a bredrin from work said to me “MB, me have Gyptian’s new album, you know, a bredrin give me a rip. You want me share me harddrive and you copy it off?”.
Of course, you know my answer, right? Yes star, I simply followed in the example of the “real” Pirates of the Caribbean. Of course I went with the rip of Gyptian’s album. I am so happy I did!
Listen, Gyptian is too young to sound so dead and boring and sad! Aside from the wicked “Serious Times” and another one about his mother, (can’t remember the name now), the whole album will put you into such a deep sleep that there are severe risks of you getting into a coma from which you cannot be revived!
Gyptian sounds like he had ten women and they all ran off with his best friend, star. Sad, moping, depressed… those words tell you how he sounds on the album. I can only hope that his connections do whatever it takes to get this brother out of the funk he obviously is in!
So why was I glad that I got the rip of the album rather than having to go out and buy it? Because if I bought that, SOMEBODY would haffi pay me back, or blood would spill! Awoah! What a piece of shit album! ![]()

Edwin Yearwood
By the way, I was just watching Tempo and I saw the video of this song by Edwin Yearwood of Krosfyah, it name “Weekend”. The song was lively and fresh, I really liked it. About the only thing I didn’t like was the eediat black/blonde look that Edwin was sporting. Him need to lose that ra$$! Edwin, is eedah or either, bredrin! If you click on the link, you can watch the video online and tell me what you think. ![]()
Gyptian, if you ever read this, go watch Edwin’s video, bredrin, it ought to cheer you up! Also, you fi use it as an example of how the music you put out should sound: Uptempo and lively, Star! Straight!

September 22nd, 2006 at 7:12 pm Those pirates really earn de title. LOL. “Serious Times” was a hard act 2 follow, but Gyptian prob’ly still got some more nice tunes in him. Edwin has a marketable sound. (As usual, whenever there’s audio or video, mi computer just slow 2 a crawl & noh play nutten.)
