Tower Of Babel

So how was your weekend? Mine was quite active still. Natty and I went to a farewell get together for another person who was leaving the company I was last employed at. That was nice still, even though I barely drank anything. Nice chatting to my bredrins and sistrens still, you know.

Later in the night, I decided to go see Tony Matterhorn do his thing. Yeah, he was over here for a dance. It was ok… I know plenty people enjoyed themselves to the max, but that kind of thing isn’t really my style… too much of the DJs screeching into the mike instead of music… too much of men dancing with men…

Yeah, there was plenty men dancing with women too, but no, the screechy, screechy thing and the pulling up of music, thats just not me. Now, next weekend, that will be more my speed! They are bringing Third World and me haffi deh deh! Still, that will be another tale!

Last weekend, I don’t know how I missed it but they brought over Wayne Marshall! That would have been more my speed too, but thats past already. Spilt milk, I guess…

Saturday and Sunday were quite rainy, but I never let that stop me. Saturday, Natty and I played some squash with some of her friends. That was excellent. I swear, if my knee lets me, I gwine to take up squash more seriously. It wicked! Sunday, I trained with the Lions for the first in about three to four weeks. Nice! Not that I did anything special, but it felt good to be running up and down again.

I’m not so sure I will be playing in our game on Wednesday night though, because after the game, my knee started to act up again! Its only because I sucked down some Cataflam immediately why I am walking ok still! I need to go see a doctor about my knee, man. Cho… Anyway, Cataflam, I love you!

After the football, I went out motoring around on the North Sound in a friends criss new speed boat! That was fun. It was a little rough though, plus I had promised MBJr. that I was going to carry him to the beach, so we never stayed out long. Hey, when we were returning to my friends house through the canal, I saw some ra$$ claat dawg, you see! Pit Bull, Rottweiler, mongrel… dogs aplenty. All these boat people love their dogs, bwoy! Mostly some big ass dogs too. The prettiest one I saw was this huge English Setter. Really pretty! See a picture on this page!

Next up was the beach… our usual spot, Governer’s Beach. People, it was nice, but the sea did rough! Some really big waves, enough to knock you over sometimes. It wouldn’t have been so bad if we just stayed in the sea, but MBJr. got scared, so he wanted to stay on shore, but just where the waves were breaking! Pure sand and rockstone! Of course, when we went home, we carried back half the sand at the beach!

Anyway, he enjoyed it and that was the goal, I guess.

Recently they held the Latin Grammys. Shakira seems to have won something. They had up some pictures of her and I was looking through them when it hit me… She was reminding me of someone else… a lot! People, I just realised that Katherine McPhee looks a lot like Shakira! Check their pictures out by clicking on the links above, tell me what you think… bwoy, I would have a hard time choosing between them! Katherine is prettier, IMHO, but also, Shakira’s hips don’t tell any lies! She supposed to coulda put it on pon me, but properly!

Then again, that “bruck up hood” business not nice when it really happens, and Katherine has a body that rocks too… Check her out in this picture… she hot nuh ra$$!!

You know what? Shakira also has a smoking bod! Whoooieeee! Check her tummy out yahso! If either of them wanted to let their ‘beavers’ gnaw on my ‘wood’, well, they’d be damned hard to refuse… dem noice!
