Wow! Apparently a lot of Jamaican men have been having paternity tests done recently and the “rate of exclusion” is pretty high! What is the rate of exclusion? That is basically saying that the men are proven NOT to be the father of the children that they have been supporting!

What a preckeh! It sounds like we cyah trust these women as far as we can throw them, and when you look at the size of some of the “mampy” ones, you know say we cyah throw them very far at all!

So, what is the actual rate at which the men are being proven NOT to be the father of these picknies? Well, the people who are doing the testing have been running a little study. Their study won’t be complete until the end of August, so they won’t know for sure until then, but so far, it appears that one in every three men who does the test has been “given a jacket”! The testers suspect that the final figures at the end of the month will show that the ratio will be even worse than that!

Can you believe it? Is this REALLY how tricky Jamaican women are? Mi God! Yardie women, what oonoo have to say for oonoo-self?

I don’t know about you, but I plan to check in when month end comes around for the final figures!

Does anyone know where we can get figures that will show how our women compare to women of other Caribbean countries, as well as to women from the U.S. and Canada, and perhaps to women from the various countries of South America as well?

Mr. Stunner blogged about it some time ago and now I see it in the news again! Apparently it is expected that the Jamaican police force will announce sometime next week that Bob Woolmer was not murdered after all! This is so embarrassing! My gosh! Like I said in the comments over by Stunner’s blog, I think someone ought to lose their work over this! Maybe more than one someone! Right now, I am leaning towards letting the pathologist be the one whose head should roll. At the same time, I am not ruling out having Mark Shields’ head lopped off too and placed on a pike right beside the pathologists! What oonoo all think about that?

Since we are talking about chopping heads off, perhaps I should mention that Friday gone was a pretty violent night here in Grand Cayman. Of course there was my incident, but much worse things took place as well! The the first homicide of the year occurred that night. Apparently a man used some machete to kill another man. It is rumoured that the man used the machete to cut off the other man’s head, although the newspaper headline speaks about a stabbing. What is craziest about the whole thing though is that the man who committed the murder is in his 70’s!

Also, there was an attempted homicide! A man attempted to kill a woman he used to be with. He tried to chop her in the head with a machete but she put her hand up to block the blow and her hand was lopped off instead! What an awful business, eeeh man? I wonder if everyone was getting on crazy because it was full moon? What you think?

Lets come off of the violence and move on to more pleasant things: Week Twelve of the ‘Divas of Yard Flex‘ competition is now posted! I like this weeks challenger! She looks great. In other news, Saturday gone was my birthday. I was also booked out to work on Friday night and on Saturday, but neither job came to pass. The Friday night job got cancelled because the server we were migrating the software to had some problem and it wouldn’t stop rebooting. The Saturday job got cancelled because the software we were going to install pulls down a lot of info necessary to the install from a server hosted remotely. This server was going down for maintenance at the same time we were going to install the software. No remote server, no install! I-an-I was as free as a bird in a tree, so I went and got a date! Trust me, me and my girl, we stayed out late! And thats all I will say about that!

Oh, I managed to get in some nice beach time over the weekend too. Plus, I ate some irie food… Steamed fish… NY strip steak… jerked pork… mannish water… sweet and spicy chicken… Special chop suey… mmm mmmm MMMM!!!! Yes, rasta, dis here Mad Bull love him bumbo claat belly! Too much so, actually, until now the belly is beginning to show me too much love too, so you done know say some situps and some strong strong diet is in order!

Anyway, the weekend is history. We just gots to keep on moving.
