Whatchu Lookin’ At?
Posted in Photo Project, General on April 15th, 2007 by Mad BullYou can actually see a lot in a person’s eyes, can’t you? Blue skies, nice fluffy clouds, brown earth… someone standing in front of the person, holding something…. in this case, a camera!

So anyway… what you all been up to? I went to some people’s house to chill last night. Came home a beaten man. Them bus’ up we shirt at dominos, bwoy!
I’ve been reading too… I just finished that novel I bought in the airport when I was flying out to Miami the other day. It was a good novel, I only took so long because nowadays I come home and read blogs daily instead of picking back up the novel I am “reading” at the time. This novel was perhaps only the second one I have actually finished at all in the last six months! It is also a novel I have read already, can you imagine? That tells you it was good, no? It was The Burning Shore , by Wilbur Smith. After reading it, I went out and bought the novel that follows it by the same author, it is like a continuation of the same story. That one is “The Power of the Sword“. I am reading that now. Hopefully I don’t get too far in it today though. I have some stuff I want to do today, like go to the beach and swim , and watch or play some volleyball, and go to the gym….
Yesterday, the reading made me not do anything I had planned to, so today the reading has to take a back seat. At least, thats the plan.
Some time ago, I asked the question on the Mad Bull’s Blog whether blogs could effect change… Now on CNN, they are wondering if it was the power of blogs that did that racist Imus in… go read it.
Nice Little Doggie
Posted in Photo Project on April 1st, 2007 by Mad BullThis picture was taken at the Humane Society’s Dog Show. The pit bull in the picture was one of the most well bahaved dogs there. Very nice, very well behaved. He didn’t even bark at the other dogs once! I wonder if his owner shared a bong with him before the show?
Its been a pretty busy weekend, folks. I am not buying the land I mentioned wanting to look at, its in a good area flood wise, but all the houses on the street are run down, they’ll bring down my property value. The search continues.
Helped M’Buthulezi move house… lots of work, people! She is quite the packrat!
Went to a nice barbeque last night, had good fun, drank too much though.
My sister had a bit of a fender bender on Sunday morning, broke her wrist.
Took MBJr. to see the movie TMNT. I didn’t want to go at first, but when I got there, I found that it was very good! It can definitely watch!
Anyway, I am too tired for a longer post, so me gone. TTYL.
Up in the Clouds
Posted in Photo Project, Interesting Stuff, Thoughtful on February 26th, 2007 by Mad Bull
This picture was taken by MBJr. somewhere between Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac. He took it with my camera, so it qualifies for the Photo Project! Are you feeling all up in the clouds? I know I am… NOT! No way, sah! Just went back to work and have several things to work on! Pressure!

I am not going to dig deep into the recesses of my mind for the post of all posts tonight. I don’t have the energy. I will just link you to interesting reading elsewhere, seen.
The first: We live in a world where sex has become estranged from intimacy, passion and love.
The second : “When yu dash weh a police bwoy life, it means say yu is a dog-hearted killa and nobody caan gi yu nuh chat again!”
Three is a good number. I am going to leave it right here… Gooders Gyal and Claude, respeck. I like when I see my Yardie bredrens writing interesting, hype stuff. Big up! ![]()
Nothing Special to Say
Posted in Photo Project on January 25th, 2007 by Mad Bull
Yeah, I know I’m a little late, cho, cut me some slack! I didn’t have much time to look through to select a picture for you all tonight, I was watching Gridiron Gang instead. Nice movie… Hell, it made me tear up more than once! It was predictable, but still it was nice, and it WAS based on a true story, so there has got to be something in it, man. I decided to post this picture because there is just something about it I like… This is the open land next door me, about two weeks after it was bushed. You see how the place verdant and green and start to grow up high already? We got some good soil up here, baby!
By the way, when the media decide to push something, they can make things look really bad, can’t they? Check this out….
Anyway, time for bed, so me gone. Sleep tight, don’t let the bedbugs bite.
Civic SI Turbo

Honda Civic SI Turbo
I know a guy who wants a Civic… perhaps he is not focussed upon this particular model right now, but I feel pretty sure that he would love one just like this still! Owen, this one is for you! I hope you are able to get one JUST like this in 2007! Of course, I also hope you get it in a hotter colour, like black, or red or gold… I also hope that you thoroughly enjoy the car but at the same time, you don’t end up ah bend it up.
Interesting Sign!
Posted in Photo Project on January 18th, 2007 by Mad Bull
Now here is an interesting sign! I don’t believe I have seen one like this before, have you? I wonder if this sign is an “only-in-Cayman” sort of thing? Actually, there is a home for the elderly just around the corner from where this sign is. I guess they take the old folk out for walks and it is better to be safe than sorry. This is Day 4 of the photo project.
A Photo A Day for 365 Days
Posted in Photo Project, Interesting Stuff on January 15th, 2007 by Mad BullI am considering embarking on a project I have seen others doing on their blogs. Its all about me posting a photo a day for 365 days. I believe that for the purposes of this project, all these photos should be taken by me or should be of me or at the very least, they should be taken by my camera. Of course, since I have three blogs now I am going to be placing the pictures on different blogs, but all you have to do is go to each of my sites daily to ensure you don’t miss any of the pictures. Thats not that hard, now is it.
I am not SWEARING that I will keep it up for the 365 days, but we’ll see… On to today’s picture.

My son has a school project. He has to do research and hand in a paper on East End, a district in Grand Cayman. Natty, MBJr. and I therefore went forth yesterday afternoon to glean information and to shoot photos in East End. Here we were at a site which is on the Cayman Maritime Heritage Trail, its called the Site of the Wreck of the Ten Sails. Apparently 213 years ago on February 8th, 1794, ten sailing ships foundered on the reef just offshore there. As you can see, not only sailing ships have foundered there over the years. That is the brass propellor of some ship that was sunk in the same spot many years later, can’t remember the details now, but it wasn’t a sailing ship. There is MBJr. getting the prop on film, and I just decided to capture him capturing the prop, just for fun!
Here’s hoping this project runs its course and that you all enjoy it.
Good news for the day: I’m alive and its a beautiful day.
Bad news so far today: my coffee percolator is on the blink.
Yow, for all you people who don’t check blogs on the weekends, there is fresh content at the Mad Bull’s Blog and at Toro Loco as well. Check them out and have a great Monday, people!
Updated: Here is the next photo in the project.
