My Dossier

So, I hear you've been dying to get to know me better. Ok. My name is Bull... Mad Bull. I was born in March of 1965. That makes me a Piscean. If you're into Chinese Horoscopes, that means I was born in the Year of the Snake. A Chinese consultant came to do some work for my company recently and he told me that Snakes are supposed to be obsessed with physical beauty... Yup! Sounds like me, to ra$$!

I'm an average Jamaican male, which means that I'm not average at all, if you know what I mean. No, I'm just kidding, although I really am not your average Jamaican dude.

I am fairly well educated, I not only have my first degree, I have a Masters in Computer-Based Management Information Systems. I am what Jamaicans call a "Browning", (and there are few of us left in Jamaica... We all are trying to increase our percentage of the Jamaican population, which is a hell of a job, but we're having fun trying! No, again, I'm just kidding). So what is a "Browning" exactly. I am a Jamaican of mixed ethnicity. Hey, our National Motto says "Out of many, one people", so you done know! (you understand). Yeah, as you can see, I'm fairly light skinned, in fact, I'm often mistaken for a Latino when I go overseas.

I don't use marijuana! I have tried it a couple of times in my wild and crazy youth (doesn't sound so wild and crazy, huh? Shhh, Seven, keep it quiet from Mum and Dad), but I couldn't be called a user by any stretch of the imagination!

Finally, I am married and have one child (yeah, only one)! All of the above make me one special Jamaican indeed!

I'm generally thought of as being a good friend, unless you're from Rockland County, New York. Even while I say this, I have few true friends. (Hey, you can't treat everybody that special, theres only so much of me to go around) I'm considered a nice kid by my parents, a wonderful husband by Natty (heh, heh! Its a good thing she can't edit this post) and a good father by all and sundry, or so I am told.

Now for my interests. I like jogging, I am interested in damn near anything related to computers, and I LOVE "nekkid" women! In terms of music, I like rhythm & blues, soft rock, soca music and of course, dance hall/reggae music. I like sports somewhat. Soccer is far and away my favorite sport, though I also like to watch or play volleyball, badminton, tennis, and one or two others. I am also a part time Cricket fan.

First, my best wishes to you and your family.

Your blog has been keeping me updated with lots of (useless) information on Jamaica, thanks to your fascination with naked women.

The person who hit your site in search of the Miss Universe pageant business was probably me. I'm familiar with your blog and your entries, which are quite interesting.

I don't really care about what you write, but the point about being a "browning" caught my attention.

I cringe when Jamaican men describe themselves that way, because it really takes away from the notion of true cultural identity. If you really see yourself as a Jamaican, why are you describing yourself in terms of your skin colour?

Two of my grandparents are German and Spanish, their spouses were black; not surprisingly, I'm dark skinned and I have "kinky" hair.

I am of mixed race, culture and heritage just as you are, but when I describe myself, I never say: "I'm what you call a dark-skinned Jamaican of mixed descent". duhhh

I think it's sort of dumb to mention it, don't you?

It's obvious from your bio that you live in Jamaica, because that shyte only matters to Jamaicans.

I'm so happy I don't live there anymore.
