The latest salvo by the Communist Chinese regime: Blocking Blogspot! (Link via Jet)
Yessir! The Chinese have blocked their people from accessing Blogspot. Now they won't be able to access the thought provoking material thats posted on so many blogs there. Apparently a Chinese man who posted some "subversive" stuff to his blog is also to be executed! 
The Chinese Government is only able to perpetuate itself by blocking free thinking ideas, and by virtue of its army, but guess what? They too will fall. Its just a matter of time. Look at Russia. Remember the fall of the Berlin Wall!
Those Chinese leaders would do better to see how they could ease the change away from communism into their country, trying to minimise the anomalies (for example, the high crime level experienced by Russia) that will develop as they transition into a market economy, but no!
Anyway, not to worry! They must fall before the onslaught of the Blogs!

Sad to know that shit like this is still happening in 2003, but then again, there is a whole lot more that is taking place that is equally alarming!
