The Week of Menace
You know whats interesting? On the way to work, I was listening to Fame FM as usual. Francois ended his "Trivial Pursuit" program saying that "we are looking down the barrel of the "Week of Menace"... and yet, he isn't talking about the looming U.S. - Iraq War.
No sir, hes talking about the upcoming Fame Road Party, billed "Menace in May Pen".
Francois is talking "party" and yet he could almost be talking about those menacing events on the world scale, couldn't he? I mean, today was to have been a sort of deadline for that series of events, wasn't it? I don't know about you, but I found that interesting...
Updated @ 13:37 : Also considered interesting at this time... I heard that we have a new dance here... Its called the "Drive By". Thats just disturbing
...
And what oonoo make of this new killer flu?

Well, I guess you know Francois has never been on my list of favourites. Interesting that at times like these he can be thinking about a party. Wish him luck with the turnout.
By the way, the 'flu' is actually a bit more than just that, it results in a pneumonia. I trust that CDC will soon find what the aetiological agent is before it takes more lives. Now is definitely not the time for international travel that is unnecessary. Hope it does not turn out to be similar to HIV...meaning no cure as yet (which has been the status quo for cases so far).

Good for who wish to go to dem party.
This link http://uk.news.yahoo.com/030317/12/dvm55.html reports that some cases of the pneumonia have responded to steroids and antivirals happily. So, I guess there's hope. Still, I don't wish to come into contact with anyone who has it or has been exposed!

Keeping pretty busy, Desiree? Tell me, what is Canada's official position on this war? Are they with Ameerica or against it? I haven't really heard much about their position on the matter.
