Seems to me that more and more men are getting into anal sex these days... I know a lot of women who say they've never tried it and that their men don't want it either. I am sure that some of these women are wrong about that fact though.
I think that quite a few men are at least curious about it. Maybe its the fact that the anus is supposed to be tighter than the vagina (at least in the beginning 
) and also, the fact that lots of people consider it to be taboo... Sort of like the forbidden fruit, you know? Those two things may well be a major part of the stimulus towards trying anal sex... but believe me, plenty of these women have men that are at least curious.

Amy, I believe you may be right, though you won't find it out easily here.
Here, people want to appear more straitlaced than that. They still think cunnilingus is a big thing, officially.
All the DJs and the singers have songs which preach against cunnilingus, but I am sure that many of them do it all the same. There is a big hypocrisy going on re cunnilingus, so you can understand how they would hide their participation in anal sex! Some of them a 'hide and lick' though... (participating secretly)
