A man went berserk Tuesday night in rural St. Andrew and chopped and killed three of his nieces, and chopped and severely injured his mother, sister and a couple of other adults. They say that it is not known exactly why he did it, though there seems to have been an argument over his not taking medication he needed to have taken. This sounds like the classic case of ganja psychosis that I'm sure I have mentioned before somewhere... The ganja addict who suffers from a mental breakdown, which is controlled by medication, if and only if the medication is taken. When the medication is not taken, the ganja addict seems to go back into a crazy state, and then woe betide everybody around him!
Its just unfortunate that they didn't take care of this situation earlier rather than later... You cannot allow these people to have weapons like machetes. If they are seen with them, they must be taken away, by whatever means necessary. If they go off the medication, they must be FORCED to take it! By any means necessary... for the good of those who live around them! You cannot romp with these people!

Unfortunately, this sounds like Schizophenia, which can be aggravated by the use of drugs, but is a neurological disorder.
He probably was hearing voices telling him to do all manner of things. He was probably very tormented by his situation and whereas, no one truly deserves to be chopped to death, they cannot be allowed to hurt others. I certainly agree with you there.
I have been trying to contact you by email Bro, but it keeps getting returned. I need to know your upcoming time table.

When I saw the story dis mawnin it saddened me.
Whether the man was a bun ganja, if he was Schizophrenic or what...I can't say. It is unfortunate that he did not take his meds and got outta control. I feel for the family that suffered the losses. Hard to lose the life of an adult loved one in this way....moreso that of children and infants.
At the same time though, when I read the article and it was reported that his tongue was chopped out and that he was eventually decapitated, I got even more saddened. The people rightly saw that what he did was wrong but it seems in this case that 'an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth' applied!
I guess it is difficult to control impulsive and reactionary behaviour in such situations.....so let me not judge.
