Review, Update, and Likkle Labrish
We went to a new restaurant for lunch yesterday... we went to the Lighthouse at Breakers. Its a picturesque place... it used to be used as a lighthouse, and its by a spot where the waves are continually crashing against reefs. It is quite pretty. On top of that, they sell some irie food! I loved it and Natty thought it was the best we've had since we've been here. On top of that, MBJr waxed some of his and some of my food off, which says a lot, because for some time now, its been the hardest thing to get him to eat anything but Wendys and Burger King.
The problem with the place is that its a bit on the pricey side too. Still, it compares quite well in food taste and ambiance with Guilt Trip and Red Bones and places such as those back home, so you done know! Things like those you have to pay for!
In short, if you're visiting Cayman, it would be remiss of you NOT to stop in at the Lighthouse at Breakers. It gets Mad Bull's seal of approval!
What? how was the football? Well, T-G let me down still!
Firstly, let me tell you, they did play the game on Saturday night against the Latinos, despite the downpour I described. The game was a draw, 1-1. Sunday night, they played in better weather, and they drew that match too, against the Cayman National team. I was expecting the man dem fi win both matches handily still! By the way, you know that Eddie Seaga came with the team to support them? A good MP that! Gave his life to T.G. Thats why he is so large down there...
Anyway, I didn't make it to either match, so I can't say whether the scoreline described the way they played accurately or not. I started watching a movie near to the time tha match was about to start and I decided not to bother to go to the match, expecially since I had no money and the ATMs at my bank were down at the time! I could have driven all over the place to try to find an ATM that was working, or I could have borrowed the money from the DSS Doc, but I decided to chill because the movie was quite entertaining!
Actually it was a movie I wanted to see from when it was making the run through the theatres, and its now finally out on DVD. It was the movie "Hell Boy" and it was quite entertaining! 'The Last Samurai' it is not, but you will enjoy it if you decide to rent it. Mad Bull sez it can watch, yuh simi?

Well, the Lighthouse sounds nice....but I wouldn't too compare it wid anyting at Red Bones. Matter of fact I was invited there by a drug rep the other day and wasn't able to go. She saw me since and said her company not taking anymore people there...overpriced and never tasted good. Guilt Trip can eat. been ages since me go deh.
Thought Tivarli would have done better too. Oh well.
