Bayside Cafe
You know whats interesting? I've discovered that I really like Indian food! Back in Jamaica, I never used to eat Indian food much, I wasn't overly impressed with the Indian restaurants back there, but I've been to one over here, the Bayside Cafe, three times so far and I must say that the food is irie! I just love the stuff!
The Bayside Cafe is in Georgetown, right by the harbour, as its name implies. It is a smallish restaurant, but the staff is friendly and the service is excellent. If you ever pass thru the place, whether you stop over on a cruise ship or if you come as my invited guest, pass thru the Bayside Cafe as well. While you are there, do try the Mahi Masala Curry, the Shrimp Masala Curry, the Chicken Tika Tandouri, the Chicken Pasta, or the Chicken Korma. A some good, good food dat, Iyah!
Now I don't want you to feel that the owners of the Bayside Cafe slipped me a smalls for me to big them up. There is another Indian restaurant that I know of near to the Strand Plaza by Seven Mile Beach, I will try that one out to see the difference between the two and to confirm whether its just the Indian food I like or if its the Bayside Cafe version, but for now, let me just leave you with this little tip: the Bayside Cafe is IRIE, mon!

Parts of my extended family are Indian so I have been exposed to some of the cooking and it has been good (spicy in some cases but good)
Although I have Indian heritage behind me (great grandmother came from India) I think she probably brought the European part of her culture here instead of the Indian culture.

Speaking of good food in London, have you heard of that resuatrant in London that serves good traditional English food? No, that's because there isn't any. Ha ha! We all have our favorite place that serves good Indian, Chinese, Thai, French, etc. but how come no one can name a good English food restaurant!

Oh how i miss that place! Before Ivan they did an all-you-can-eat buffet for lunch every weekday for $6.95! Best lunch deal on the island!

Hi Mad Bull-Love Indian food but haven't found any good ones here in So. Florida. Back home in Ja we used to go to Khooinoor on Holbourn and all the dishes looked the same.
Dr. D. Tandoori chicken is marinated in yogurt and I believe grilled.
