Up Late, Again?! Sheeiit!

Yes mi bredrins, I am in the house! Whats going on with you all today? Me, I feel like I didn't get anywhere near enough sleep last night. I had been feeling like that from early this morning, shortly after I got to work, and a sistren at work who was passing by my desk actually stopped to comment "Wait, you been smoking plenty weed, or wah?".

At first I thought maybe it was the early signs of pink eye, since Natty had conjunctivitis recently and I had heard it was going around, and so I flashed into the bathroom to check my eyes out. When I looked at myself in the mirror, it was just the normal old tired, red eyed look that I sport sometimes...

I had was to go out and say to the dawta, "So, is that how WEAK the Mary J that you guys smoke over here is?". I mean, c'mon! Hadn't they noticed how far away from me they all had to walk to not be swallowed whole when I was yawning down the place today, man?smily

And yet, here I am, up late again tonight... What do I blame it on? Guilt? You'll have to click on the link below to find out...

What do I blame it on? Guilt? No... too much coffee? Not this time... no, tonight, I blame it on you all!!

I was reading around the place at all of your blogs and hence I am up late. Especially to blame tonight is Shaggy's Girl who I just discovered via the rude bwoy Charles Matheson of "A Shout in the Dark". Thats two interesting women you have set me up on now, mi bredrin. I owe you one.

So what can I tell you about Shaggy's Girl? Well, one thing I immediately found interesting is that she has archives on her blog going back to 2003! On top of that, based on what I read tonight, she is an interesting read. She writes about different things than I do, or maybe she just writes about the same things, but in a different way.

Actually, she writes kind of like how Dr. Carolyn Cooper talks when she was teaching me English Lit. at UWI.... and trust me, I always found Carolyn to be a very sexy woman. I liked how she used to look in all those African dresses too... shew could really wear them, bwoy!

Anyway, I digress. I was talking about Shaggy's girl, nuh true? At the same time she talks like Dr. Cooper, she also sounds kind of facety, kind of like Mutty Perkins... I hope she looks more like Dr. Cooper than Mutty still! Anyway, I just started reading her, so what the hell do I know?

Gwaan go give her a read for yourself, form your owna impressions nuh? I am not trying to force my opinions down your throat, you know, Rasta! I-man naw try to oppress you.... gwaan, man.

Yea man! Carolyn did kinda sexy in an inteligent sort of way back in the 80's and 90's. Smooth, dark skin, pleasant face with a decent amount of meat in all the right places. Yea man she did kinda hot still! How she look now?

Dunno, D-I. Is from back then that I remember her still.... I suspect she prolly looks the same, but maybe with a few greys... I will research it.

Hello ALL,

My name is Roshane Campbell. I also attended St. Cecelia Preparatory for the 1st grade to the middle of the 6th. I ended up moving to Belgium and then Fl, US. I had many friends at that school. I was quite "popular" to be honest... At the time I attended Mrs. Riley was the principal, really sweet lady.. I'm trying to get in touch with friends I had when I was there. I truly did love those kids... Anywho, I heard that I would have gone to Wolmer's Boys if I had continued to live in JA.

Hello, Roshane. Welcome. St. Cecelia is a good school, but I don't know of Mrs. Riley, which tells me you went there long after I did, because Mrs Holness was principal while I was there and she remained in that post until long after I left, probably when I had already started working.
Still, feel free to hang here if you want to, because I don't discriminate due to age. I don't know if you'll find many people who went to St. Cecelia reading here, though, and if you do, they probably went there long ago...
