What a Heat!

It is sweltering down here in Jamaica. I went to visit my parents and sisters and we were talking about how hot it was. I mentioned to them that Seven had emailed me a picture of herself lying around in her indoor pool at her home in Florida and my parents and sisters were incensed. “You mean to say that we are here sweating until we may soon disappear and Seven is up there lying around in her pool with tall cold drinks and novels! Its just not fitting!” they said.
“I know she just sent it to show off on us, you know! Seven! You and Midas better watch your back, man! We’ll get you yet!” And so they sat there and fantasized about invading the U.S. and “liberating” that little piece of Florida that is Seven’s for themselves…

What a way people can bad-mind and grudgeful. Ah nuh indoor pool, bredda, is an outdoor one, enclose inna screen to protec’ wi fram di bug dem! An yu dun know seh is long, long time mi a beg unnu fi come liberate pon mi (tr: wow. People sure can be grudgeful! Its not exactly an indoor pool, either - its outdoors, but screened in to keep the tremendous bugs of Florida out! And you all know that I would give my eye teeth for you all to be here.) Just tonight, Midas was asking if you are not taking any trips soon - since you came here twice last year - at least one trip is in order. I would love for you guys to be here - i get very homesick. I won’t lie - I love where we live - but I HATE not having you guys here to enjoy it with! That’s what life’s supposed to be about you know… Anyway - Missa Grudgeful - come nuh!!!!!!!
