America vs. Iraq: Yea or Nay
There is some interesting discussion of the impending America - Iraq war going on here and here. I think you should check them out, and add your thoughts on the issue… Why? Because I say so. Go read them now….
Have you ever thought about this…
America is against terrorists and terrorism, but they themselves have been known to behave just like the countries fostering the terrorists do. They support or have supported terrorist countries, like Afghanistan, and Iraq.
They fund, train and supply groups who fight against the governments of countries they are against.
They interfere with the politics of other countries and regions.
They have demonstrated the willingness to attack other nations, to use their planes, warships, bombs and missiles against other countries.
They remain the only country to have used nukes against another country. (Correct me if I’m wrong on this one)
Who should we really fear, them or Saddam? I mean, yeah, Saddam is wicked and all that, but shouldn’t we be fearful of the U.S. too. And its present leadership seems to be more aggressive than ever… What do you think?
There’s a little talked about theory, that our government could have planned the September 11th attacks, to get our people pissed off enough to back the politicians that want to go to war.
Similar to the idea, that we knew about Pearl Harbor, before hand.
Which now, is proving to be a possibility.
There are sleazy things going on here.
Deep inside our government.
Wars are good for business.
And, making money is what our leaders are all about.
Providing that THEY are the ones making the money.
Well, WD, its just you and me… I was kind of hoping to get a few differing views here, and so was exaggerating a bit, but I guess everyone else decided to turn the other cheek. So be it. Let the record show that I really do not think the U.S. is anywhere near as bad as Saddam. If Saddam had nukes, well, I’d be a lot more scared than I am. I do have a bit of trouble with the heightened aggression that is characteristic of the U.S. stance nowadays though. As to what you’re suggesting here, well, I would have a hard time believing that anyone could be so wicked to their own countrymen. Do you really believe this. I know that theres a lot of crap going on at high levels, there as well as here, but such wickedness is a bit hard to believe. If it were much smaller numbers of people who were killed maybe, but 2500 people? I dunno…
Ok, here are some words from someone saying something somewhat similar to what I was saying. (My, that was a lot of S’es, wasn’t it?)
It starts at the indented section beginning with : “The answer is simple. Saddam is a temporary phenomenon (tyrannies like his rarely survive the tyrant’s death) but US power is not”
I don’t really beleive it myself.
BUT….I DO think it’s possible.
Especially with all the lies, and bullshit going on with our government.
I’ve always felt that the fact that those towers fell down like they did, was a mistake. Not the plan.
No matter WHO decided to do it.
I don’t think they knew that those buildings were going to collapse.
………
If the stories about Pearl Harbor are true, and we KNEW about the attack before hand?
That would be sacrificing a great number of people so that we’d enter a war.
Power hungry, greedy people, will do ANYTHING to get what they want.
I think the US is becoming a strange threat, to countries that don’t think like we do.
And I don’t think the assholes that run this country are beyond nuking someone that doesn’t do as we say.
We’ve got TOO much power.
And even our allies are starting to squirm a bit.
I agree with the stuff that you guys are saying. I’m only 16 and I get to watch the world leaders turn this world to shit. Thanks guys, why don’t you try asking the young ones sometimes, some of us aren’t as dumb as you think.
