What a gwaan.

So, Isidore is moving away from us now, moving towards Cuba. Slowly, menacingly… Clocking windspeeds of 105 mph, she’s a full fledged hurricane now. She’s moving forward at 10 mph. Moving forward over warm waters, with the pressure dropping. Gathering her strength…

I see that Colin Powell (the dove in the Bush Administration) has begun talking tough, saying the U.S. will try to BLOCK U.N. Arms Inspectors from going to Iraq, unless the U.N. issues a tough new resolution to Iraq. Seems that war is imminent, when the doves start telling the whole world ’bout dem rass (start talking tough to the world).

I see also that Israel is shelling the headquarters of Yasser Arafat, blowing up buildings in his compound… As Bob Marley (and Haile Selassie) said, “Everywhere is WAR!” Well, screw dem, the “little birds are outside my window, singing sweet songs, melodies pure and true”. The message - The end is NOT near. See! Neville Bell and Simon Crosskill are on TVJ’s Morningtime programme, giving NUFF JOKE (lots of jokes) as usual. Just another Friday morning…

In other news, the company I work for has finally (* sigh of relief *) been able to produce bills to send to its customers. Bills produced on the (insert drum roll here) new system! They are LIVE, baby! LIVE! Does this mean the back breaking labor is over? Not one hundred percent, but its winding down… So, good news for the company at least. And soon, for me too.

And last but not least, over there in SoCal, that great blogger and Sim creator extraordinaire Skits has created a Sim of ME! Go and check out Skits’ Sim world “Bloggerville” out! Today is Skits second Blogaversary! Two years blogging… My congratulations go out to Skits, and I think you should go congratulate her too, and give her a smooch. Bye.

  1. Yes yute, war is happening elsewhere, but the birdsong this morning was truly melodious and the sun shineth with clear skies.

Glad that your GO LIVE is indeed LIVING, just make sure to have an inherent flaw in the system that will simply forget to bill my house, OK? After all, wah yu tink yu name bredren fah? Latah!

  2. Thanks! It was a very good day. I’m glad you like your Sim. He’s a cutie! lol

  3. First, you just quoted one of my favorite songs….STOP THAT! And, now, we are blessed with a SIM of you? Too much! I may just run off with that SIM since you’re already taken. Sigh. Hey, maybe the good Dr will come get his new nurse.

  4. Hey Goddess, how about you coming to Jamaica for the weekend? You could use it to get acquainted with our island and the Doc. of course! I could use some distraction now that some asshole just hit into the back of my car on the way home this evening! So much for the damn weekend!

  5. If I were to appear in Jamaica, I would stay for more than a weekend. I love it too much to only spend a couple of days…..

Once upon a time, my dream was to relocate to that glorious island and find a doctor with a plane…..fly from clinic to clinic and help people. My children would grow up in Paradise and bliss would be ours. It hasn’t happened yet. But, I love Jamaica, the people, the music, the food, the water, the air…….all of it!

  6. I see that you are in a (SIM) house with three hot babes. I hope natty doesn’t get too upset.
