Check This One Out!

Now I ask you… if you have a company offering cable AND internet connection services, wouldn’t you assume that when the cable guy finally gets to your house, he would connect up both services if that’s what you paid for? I mean, isn’t that just logical?

Apparently that isn’t, because the cable guy dropped in today and now we can watch TV, but they say someone else will be coming to set up the internet part of the package… AAAaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh!!!

Get this! He will be coming to set the internet connection up in a couple of days!

More waiting to ra$$!!! Its probably just setting up the internet connection on the PC too, you know! I’ll bet that’s all that’s left to be done. That’s something I could do, but they didn’t leave that info with Natty, so I can’t do anything with it until they come back! This is VERY frustrating, let me tell you!

Anyway, let me look at the bright side of things… I ought to be able to catch the episodes of Sopranos and Deadwood which came on Sunday night… I am sure that they show them again sometime this week on HBO again, nuh true?

  1. For Cox Communications the installation process is very much the same. There are three departments for technicians; telephone, internet and cable. They usually only install the component they are trained for and someone else will come out to install the others.

HBO reruns Soprano’s and Deadwood all week long, especially if you get the upper tier channels like HBO2, etc. I haven’t been following Deadwood at all but hope they rerun Carnivale soon so I can catch all that I missed. The next season of Six Feet Under starts soon also. This season of Soprano’s is the best they’ve shown in a while. Too bad we’ll probably have to wait another couple of years for the next season.

  2. I don’t think I would have the patience to deal with that sort of thing now. Local competition for the almighty dolla and “who can do it before who” bruk mi bad. When mi call, di man den suppose to deh deh next day (or weekend di latest) or else mi find anodda company fi deal wid.

  3. that’s how we do it in the caribbean…you ent know that???

  4. So, dem deal wid de “Soon Come” attitude inna Cayman as well??

Don’t worry, dem soon come…but then again, so is Christmas!

  5. Actually, Westar is in the middle of upgrading their entire subscriber base to digital cable… that apparently is why it took so long, but I and I am on now!
