It Deh Yah!
The Dell has landed! It is IN THE HOUSE! What does this mean? Well, it means that my life is returning to normal, somewhat. I have a computer at home again! YEAHHH! 
Wow! Now that I think of it, I have always had a computer at home from way back in the late 80’s, say 1987 or ‘88… no wonder it felt so bad not having one! Then to make matters worse, we haven’t had any television either.
Now if it were just Natty and I, that might not be such a bad thing… I am having visions of when Hurricane Gilbert passed its destructive way through Jamaica, leaving us without electricity for a month! A couple CAN find ways to distract each other, even when there is no electricity! 
But when you have a young kid in the picture, well… the picture changes a bit. You have to spend all your time keeping the kid amused, and trust me, that can drive anyone to distraction! It got to the stage where I was considering burning up this kiddie boardgame (Candyland) that we had bought him! He wanted to play it over and over!I HATE THAT GAME NOW!
Eventually I bought a TV and a DVD, and we’ve been renting a couple of DVDS daily, just to give MBJr. something else to amuse him.
But now, Compi is here, and guess what? Tomorrow is the day that the cable company has scheduled to connect us up too! As long as they show up and do their thing, I ought to be as happy as a pig in shyte!
A PC… cable, which in my case means both television and an internet connection! What more could a man want? You dunno? Well, there are a couple of things, but hey, I’ll work with these things for now! You all pray that the cable guy shows up, you hear!

Yes my yute, since arriving here on Saturday I was greeted with the news that my cousin had recently bought a new DELL!
Only for her son to buss mi bubble and tell me that it nuh connect to de rass net yet! Yes, I must admit that even though me deh pon holiday, I actually missed the blogs and was suffering from withdrawal symptoms…not from VX of course, that’s in ample supply.
So, here holding a borrows at Dr. Spanish’s yard.
