Someone Applauds Pat Robinson?!
Recently that ass, Rev. Pat Robinson, suggested that the president of Venezuela, should be assassinated by the US. Clerics and religious leaders all over Jamaica expressed their shock and horror at the braying of that religious donkey, I believe they even made some sounds about what he said being manifestly evil and that something like that could only flow from devilish influences.
When I heard that, I felt pretty good, but then I came across this article by a (local?) religious leader (he calls himself Fr.) which applauded what Pat Robinson had to say!
This guy sounds like he endorses some of the rubbish that Robinson has been spouting in the past, such as saying that feminism will lead to lesbianism, that family planning is dangerous, and that people other than Christians or Jews are not able to govern a country! He sounds like he would be prone to utter similar nonsense himself. He quite likely is a bit crazy and will definitely bear watching… You know, I wonder if his whole article was written tongue-in-cheek and he was just being sarcastic? I am finding it hard to believe that he is really endorsing all this crap!? ![]()
Here, read what he has to say and judge for yourselves…
There is more… more on the same topic, plus check out some stuff from way over ‘pon the other side of the globe… click the link below and gwaan reading nuh?
You know, at least two people have said to me that Hurricane Katrina was visited upon the Gulf Coast states because the people there are wicked! They said that the biggest casino in the U.S. is in New Orleans, and that people there practice witchcraft, and because of this, God sent Hurricane Katrina to punish them. Normally, I wouldn’t subscribe to that shyte, because as an example, Hurricane Ivan ‘caned Cayman properly last year, and for the most part, I don’t see any wickedness going on here! Maybe I am steeped in wickedness and deviltry then, but everything here seems on the up and up, know what I mean?
In the case of New Orleans however, I might be inclined to wonder more about the Lord punishing them, because there seem to be some really wicked and evil people up in that there cit, bwoy! Snipers! Rapists! Hmph! Unfortunately its not only the assholes who be suffering.
Now, check this out! ![]()
Check that picture out, mah peeps! That is a picture taken at Kalk Bay in Cape Town. Don’t know if you knew it, but down there is particularly known for the bad stormy/freaky weather! Now look, two guys went out on that little pier there when they were surprised by that monster wave! You can click on that picture to see a bigger version of it, if you want to look at it more closely.
Its frightening, huh? Look at them run! What do you think, did they make it to the relative safety of the lighthouse doorway?
Oh no, they didn’t! They were saved however. Read all about it here!
Though that pier looks freaking dangerous now, it is normally a really pretty, idyllic setting. Click here to have a look at what it looks like in good weather. See, the lighthouse in the picture is out at the end of the pier which is nearest to the top left hand corner of the picture. If you look really closely, you can just make the lighthouse out, d’you see it? Pretty, innit?
Bwoy, we have a little jetty which sticks out into the sea here in Grand Cayman, its by Spotts Bay. Natty and I used to go out to the end of the jetty all the time and look down into the sea, looking at the fish and things in the water and sometimes just watching the wave action.
We haven’t been there so much since the Gov’t. fenced it off so as to comply with cruise ship safety regulations. You can still access the place, but maybe the fence has turned us off a bit, you know. That doesn’t mean that we’ll never go there again, mind you. Still, I will remember the picture up above when next I’m out at the tip of that jetty and I will be keeping my eyes peeled for monster waves, you can bet your bottom dollar on that one!
I-an-I gone for now, have a good Friday, and for those of you who don’t check in on the weekend, have a great weekend.
Peace.

Yush MB…utter rubbish this Pat Robinson characther…is him dem fi assassinate! As for the pic, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near that rass lighthouse when the wave clap it! Stay safe mi bredda and enjoy di Friday.
Robinson and Co are simply screwed…argument done. Unfortunately, there are lots of screwed people in the world!
The wave looks pretty awful…sure it is not computer doctored?
I don’t subscribe to the thoughts that the hurricane went to NO because dem wicked…it could easily have come to Kingston!
FIAH BUN FI DI HEEDEN DEM!! HASSASINATE ‘IM IYAH!
RICH - HARD ( to whom it may concern) YU NEVA BENG READ DI HORTICLE. KIBBA YU MOUT ‘FORE’ JAH JAH SEN WAN WAVE COME FI YU!
No, Doctor D, I don’t think the wave is doctored. This was an actual event, people were actually pulled from the water…
Sounds sarcastic to me.I don’t subscribe to the theory that its cos NO wicked.Seems to me people everywhere living in ways that not pleasing to God.When I see some the things happening here in my island it makes me feel we being spared too long
“The man knows what he believes. He owns it. He is not about to sign any such thing as name withheld by request. He takes great pride in his NONSENSE; and we ought to give credit where it is due.”
The author’s intent, I believe, was sarcasm. He was unfortunately somewhat ambiguous in parts.
