Yes, star, that was suggested by Mother Theresa and I do hold the lady in high regard. It was therefore a quotation that I gave some thought to. Guess what I realised! I did just that at lunch! I’m good!

Ok, just kidding.

I have a new colleague here at work, she has been in my company’s employ now for about a month. She is pretty decent. She is from England, and one of the things I find most interesting about her is all the British slang terms she uses. Trust me, Rasta, she uses so many terms that I have never heard before. I think I will drop one or two of them on you all now and again. If you’re here reading this today, you are lucky, you will be one of the lucky few who were able to read the first in the new exciting series of posts, “Bella’s Slang”! All you readers of the inaugural “Bella’s Slang” posts are lucky because I have decided to make a competition of this. In a year’s time, I will write some questions about the “Bella’s Slang” inaugural post and whoever answers it will win two tickets to stay in the Ritz Carlton in Grand Cayman for a week! Isn’t that exciting?

Ok, here goes: The word(s) for today’s “Bella’s Slang” post is ‘minging’. It is supposed to mean “horrible”, or rather, its the superlative of “horrible”, so it means “bumbo rass claat horrible” or “absolutely, disgustingly horrible”, cool? Click pon the link below nuh…

OMG! Shes absolutely MINGING!

Above you see the circumstances in which this particular gem of a term came to light. I showed Bella this photo of this hot gyal and she immediately came out with “OMG! Shes absolutely MINGING!“. I think its one of those words that you immediately get the meaning of, don’t you? Its a good word, it is… thanks Bella.

Anyway, I decided that I will also show you the opposite of the word “minging”. Bella says that the opposite of minging is “fucking gorgeous” or “phoarr!”. That means I have to show you some phoarr girls too.

Recently their site was down for a bit, I thought that they must have suffered a server crash or something and I assumed that, having lost all his previous stuff, Cedric (Partysurfers.ky webmaster) had just thrown in the towel or something. Thankfully, they seem to have “wheeled and come again!”. Bwoy, they take some nice, clear, irie pictures, sah! I wish I had the photography skillz that the partysurfers.ky photogs have!
