Eating Humble Pie

So, what do you have to say about Ronaldo, the big man himself? A lot of people were cussing him out, including myself, but his response to his detractors was classic! Two goals in the Japan match today, plus several shots to goal, the majority of which the goalie had to save of pick it up from the back of the net… bwoy, I sure made a wrong call! I will be the first to admit it. I hope Ronaldo gets to add three more goals to his world cup tally, three more minimum! Respect to the big man still!
What can you say about Ghana too? Wow WOW! Big up to the Ghanaian massive still! They played a nice game of football, at least what I saw, and I say “A pox on U.S. coach Bruce Arena and team captain, Claudio Reyna! More fire!”. They are bad sportsmen. I didn’t see the foul that caused the penalty but I did see many of the other fouls that central defender Oguchi Onyewu committed in the U.S. teams other two matches and I must say that he has been leading up to just that, a penalty kick! Plus, why curse when all the other teams out there are having the same hard time with the referees?!
Anyways, mah peeps, its a bit late and I-an-I man tired! I am not going to tarry with oonoo tonight. I am going to leave you with a link which will give you a look at the wives and girlfriends of some of football’s best players of today! Footballers do get fine women… at least the successful ones do!

Finally, take a look at some of the ladies in the stands with the rest of us! There are some fine women checking out the games, folks. Here is a fine example who happens to be very talented in at least two areas! Hey, Bella! I thought you told me all German women were hairy! This one looks aight! She is definitely not the least bit dodgy or minging… I bet you are going to try to tell me that her parents were from England!

Happy Friday to all. Just a couple of points of interest…
- Shatta Marc is alive and well, apparently…
- I came across this lady blogger (Xiana) who hails from Jamaica… she has a pretty website. On top of the pretty looks, she can be quite witty. The first post on her blog today (the one labelled “Anti Gay”) is an amusing post on why she is fighting down homosexual males (this is not your usual homophobia, so don’t hate on her, read what she has to say, ok?)
- Finally, the link to Xiana was excavated from Scratchie’s World, where there is an interesting little post on how we Caribbean nationals can fight against people from different islands than our own.
Go ye forth and read up my links and enjoy the day, and indeed the entire weekend. Bless!
Hey Mad Bull. How you? I’m happy that Ghana went through today but also saddened that they will have to play Brazil in the next round. The U.S. need to go back to the drawing board, I never believed that they had what it takes to progress from that group [their number 4 ranking says something about how inaccurate the fifa rankings can be].
She loves football. Well I love her football. I wonder if she’d let me juggle them? Anyway, glad Ronaldo’s back in the spotlight.
never was a Ronaldo fan but am happy he found his goal scoring ways and relieved some the pressure from the press.
Yes MB, Renaldo surely did well in the game against Japan. I was there infront of the TV to see every one on the goals. Hopefully he keeps it up and set a record.
That picture of the girl makes me want to say “I love football” too!
man, brazil a play football like chess. All I see is a man just start run, bounce, bounce, turn and score. keeper never see it a come.
what’s interesting bout the wives and girlfriends ting is that all the black players have white wives/girlfriends.
You know, Sandor, I didn’t notice that! Actually, I like the mix up and blenda thing, after all, if it wasn’t for that, I would look drastically different, but at the same time, black people seem to have a problem with their own skin color, rasta!
