In Sixty Words or Less

I noticed this site, “Pan in 60” yesterday where all the posts are telling a compact story, in sixty words or less. I found the stories there quite interesting, and the concept appealed to me. I decided to try my own hand at it. Below is the result of my efforts. It is a true story too…

The Rude Old Man

The old man rode by me, looking at me quite curiously. I nodded a greeting, but he passed, no acknowledgement whatsoever! When I reached the shop, the shopkeeper was telling the old man, “Be careful, remember your pressure.”. He left. The shopkeeper turned to me. “His grandchildren been giving him trouble”.
“You reap what you sow, I guess”, I thought.

Now here is an idea for a meme… go ye forth and come up with your own little sixty word stories nuh?

Note: I know some people just read the top post and then they are gone, thinking that this is all that has been written here since last they visited. I wrote another post this morning, so scroll down and go read it, cool?

Peace.

  2. Another blogger, Piu, once challenged me to do a 50 word story. Oh man, it was hard but I did it. Phew.
