Guess What?
I missed watching the Miss World Competition! Some people came around to my house to play dominos, but we couldn’t find the bloody things! Not to worry! We eventually just ended up drinking and chatting for quite awhile, we had good fun still.
Anyway, I woke up this morning and noted that congratulations are in order to the folowing people :
- Miss Czech Republic, who won it all! Big up to the new Miss World!
- Miss Jamaica, who won the Miss World Caribbean title! Big up, Baby!
- Gela, who selected Sara Lawrence to win that title in the comments to this blog post.
Well, the Miss World Judges threw me for a loop still! Miss Aruba, who was my pick to take the Miss World Caribbean title, didn’t even make the semi-finals! My judgements are being shown to be more and more out of whack with the judgements of the Miss World judges every year! Hmmm… I guess this proves the statement, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”, because I still think say she was the hottest!
In other news, I hurt up my knee playing a scrimmage game against some younger, fitter mofos over on the tough, uneven surface at George Hicks playing field on Tuesday and my knee is still hurting me, so I won’t be able to train today! I prolly won’t be able to play in the game my team has scheduled tomorrow evening either! Cho man!

I didn’t remember that the pageant was last night and saw the results this a.m. Seems like the women have the pick for the beauties … hhhhmmmm … what does that say about me and Gela for having a knack for picking winners …
BTW, I’ve now stepped up to the new Yahoo Mail Beta. It’s pretty cool and I’m liking it. I had to adjust the display settings so now my web pages are a bit smaller. But as I have 20/20 that’s ok with me. One bug so far …. when composing mails, my contacts are duplicated in the listing. I checked it and they are only there once, but when I’m send a mail and choosing from my contacts, they appear there twice. How have you found it?

Hey MB, this morning when I read the news that she was in the top six and CaribQueen, I thought of you and said let me go check the postings, cuz I know how you love to comment on the pageants.
I’m quite pleased for her.
Back in the days before females got involved in football I always thought it would be cool game to play. Always picture myself in front of the goal post diving to block a would-be goal. Afro do a post or two on your games nuh man.
Congrats especially 2 Sarah. Thought she wouldn’t look ‘hyped-up’ enough 4 them, but am pleased that she got it.
Saw on Caribvision Miss Bdos was the winner in the swimsuit.
Never even knew/remembered contest was tekking place….
And since the title here is ‘Guess what?’ I posted!
I totally forgot about the finals too. Too busy, too busy.
