A Little Tip
Yow… just passing through really… just finished watching a movie, (The Marine, starring John Cena and Kelly Carlson (shes so hawht!). The movie was entertaining) and was passing through.
I stopped by the Chief Lymer and Geoffrey Philp, both of whom have some very interesting posts up. I thought that since y’all are me bredrins and ting, it would be proper for me to tell oonoo about these marvellous posts so that you can go check them out yourselves.
Geoffrey is analysing recent Jamaican history (the 70’s) and it makes for some interesting reading. He has also invited us, his readers, to add to what he has written by way of our comments. Gwaan over and give him a check, its very good stuff.
The Chief Lymer is talking about how some things are not going well in Britain and she speaks her mind freely on what the reasons for the current decline are, she speaks out well on what she thinks can turn things around, and she makes a hell of a lot of sense to me. The thing is, her ideas will help Britain, but they will also help us! I think she makes some very valuable observations and you can only benefit from going over and giving the lady a read. Give thanks for the link and the comments. As you know, the whole series began with several questions from Mikey Jiggs. As you know, the connection between reader and blogger is very important. Imagine then the connection between fiction writers/ poets from Jamaica/Caribbean and their readers.
Some bloggers have given up because they feel no one’s listening. Now think about the writers who year after year have written without any support and by living off the kindness of strangers.
