You know, I got a panic call tonight. A friend of mine had some problems with her database, necessitating recovery. Unfortunately, she isn’t an Oracle DBA and she has never recovered a database before. I have, but I haven’t done it for awhile. I therefore went to Google to scout around for the right commands, so as to refresh my memory. I found a page with the commands, so I read it through and passed the commands over to her to execute. She hasn’t done it yet. Anyway, I just read to the end of the webpage, and at the very end, they had this quote:
“All those who drink of this remedy recover in a short time, except those whom it does not help, who die. Therefore, it is obvious that it fails only in incurable cases.” – Galen (circa 100 A.D.)
The people who came up with this web page are a little loco en la cabeza, no? 
Note, I put this post in two categories, “Serious tings” and “Funny Stuff”. I guess people do take serious things and make jokes out of it sometimes, huh? 
Now that I think of it, in that regard, its similar to the snappy comeback made by the guy in the audience to Bono in my previous post.
So, what do you think of the camera in my cell phone. Here is a picture I shot in bright sunlight. Its of the car of a co-worker. My company doesn’t have enough parking spaces so we routinely have to block one another in and then contact the people blocked to tell them, so that they can call you to let them out if they need to go on the road. I took this picture to remember the license plate number so that I could find out whose car this was to contact them.
Now here is a nighttime picture, taken at the Sea Inn bar. Not as good detail, but then, my phone doesn’t have any flash, so I think it did a good job.

Your camera phone works pretty well. When I bought the trio, I expected something that was at least this…I got a bunch of foggy images that I could barely see. *stupse*

I have to laugh when you talk about Sea Inn – its a nice little place but I just cant see you there – any how thats Cayman culture, everyone goes everywhere -
The phone is a Motorola RAZR. R.I., why can’t you see me there? Its a nice establishment. You should see some of the places I used to hang out at!
